I've also backed by claims with examples and unlike you, I'm not running from the rules."No PIS" is still a rule, this is fact.
I have no problem debating with you so long as you're following forum rules. You wanna or not?
Again, Chess vs Checkers. Sorry if you prefer Herochat's debates, but it's how we do it over here.
Pis is subjective and like the surfer fanboy you won't acknowledge the two asskickings Thor handed him.
This thread is about who is more powerful. Put up or shut up.
This isn't cbr friend you can't rule out every showing that doesn't go along with your rosey little surfer universe.
Your insults are pathetic.

"Latter part of the battle"... dude there was one hit after that. Surfer said he'd been holding back but was no longer going to, Thor through his hammer and Surfer threw a blast and both missed, then Thor hit Surfer one more time with his hammer and he crash landed on the planet. And I doubt that he was still going all out when he had Warlock's help since Warlock was there to save Thor.
I cannot believe you would even dare say something so preposterous.

I acknowledge it happened, but then again I also acknowledge that Spidey beat Firelord. There's a difference between acknowledging it and accepting it.
Depends, are you going to debate by KMC rules or continue your trolling?
It's also not Herochat where the concept of PIS can be ignored. If you want to debate the reasons as to why it is or isn't PIS I have no problem doing so.
It wasn't an insult, I'm pretty sure it was an analogy. I LIKE checkers...

PIS IS subjective, but that doesn't make it any less a rule. If you lack the capacity to debate by the rules then a debate between us is pointless.I acknowledge it happened, but then again I also acknowledge that Spidey beat Firelord. There's a difference between acknowledging it and accepting it.

Spidey beating Firelord has nothing to do with Thor beating the Surfer. They are in the same league while Spiderman and firelord are not making it the perfect example of it being pis.
I am debating. I have given examples after examples while you won't even debate with regards to this thread. It's about who is more powerful.
It's also not cbr where we dismiss the comics completely and argue based on powersets alone. This is the middleground of both sites.
You insulted me with an analogy.
Now either give me an example of why the Surfer is more powerful or don't respond. It's that simple.

Just goes to show that not everything that happens in comics SHOULD happen. You can acknowledge it as a fact of history without accepting as accurate.
But not by KMC rules because you're refusing to discuss whether or not it's PIS because you don't like the concept.
And PIS is recognized as being a valid part of comics here.
Nonsense. As I said I LIKE checkers, in fact I like it more than chess. But I wouldn't join a chess club and insist that the participants change the game just to suit my preference.
Save your ultimatums for someone you can enforce them on.
Originally posted by darthgooberI have already heard your reasoning. Thor fought him again with help and put him down just as easily. The comic made it very clear that Thor>>Surfer in this arc. You can argue had the Surfer done this or that, but it reeks of fanboyism. Let it go.
Sure it is. Would you like to debate why?Just goes to show that not everything that happens in comics SHOULD happen. You can acknowledge it as a fact of history without accepting as accurate.

That is completely different than Thor and the Surfer. It's a horrible comparison.
I am not refusing to discuss it. I disagree with your reasoning, but it really has nothing to do with this thread topic. You seem to want to justify Surfer's losses by pretending they don't count.
Pis is also subjective and most would disagree with you I'd imagine. You're a surfer mark so of course you have a huge problem with this.
How am I changing the rules? You won't even stick to the topic here. It seems like you are attempting to king me while we are playing chess.
Just another example of you running from the actual thread topic. I accept your concession.

It gets the point across nicely though.
Since the thread is about who's more powerful between the two and the thread starter keeps on citing the same fight as evidence for one side, whether or not that fight is accurate has everything to do with the thread topic.
Would you like to put it to a test? I have a little free time coming up so we could have a Battlezone over whether or not B&T is an accurate reflection on how a match between the two would go in a forum fight.
You're ignoring the concept of PIS and trying to debate like your at herochat.
The validity of the evidence your presenting for Thor is right on topic. You really think accepting an imaginary concession makes you look like you're ahead in the debate?
Thing is, the only examples you guys throw out are:
1) Godlbast affected Galactus.
2) Thor beat Surfer in a fight.
Which can be explained in two reasons:
1) Galactus was written differently back then. The same Godlbast couldn't hurt Juggernaught and couldn't even budge a Celestial when struck at it's most vulnerable spot. Unless you're saying Jugs > Galactus, this really shouldn't be used as an example.
2) Thor is a much better figher than the Surfer, this thread isn't about "who will win in a fight" it's about who is more powerful (besides, the only thing that indicated that he went "all out" was his own words). Then if that is the case, we shouldn't run to 1v1 scans but instead (first) agree on a criteria to determine "power" THEN discuss feats.
Oh, BRB beat Classic Thor on their fight and Current Thor lost the Odinpower AND now has a new vulnerability (his hammer is tied to his lifeforce). Thor is more or less back to classic levels and when you put BRB vs. Current SS, guess what happens?
Now THIS is a decisive fight (but we REALLY shouldn't use it to determine "power" tho).

BRB's never beaten Thor.
The time they fought hand to hand they fought on a volcanic planet that powered up his android body at the time....

Um. Thor still lost. :-/ BRB did get up first and was declared winner.
At the very least, he MATCHED Classic Thor. BRB is shown in the scan to be completely outmatched.

Thor still lost? lmfao
What if they had fought inside a great magnetic cube that would've pinned BRB to the floor the entire time....BRB was being powered up, does this make it inside your brain?

Thor still lost. The fact that BRB had a very slight amp that helped him recover sooner doesn't remove the fact that in that very scenario Thor lost the fight. All I'm saying that you will need to concede the fact that your previous statement:
