Who is more powerful, Thor or the Silver Surfer?

Well no you should kind of stop, at least with the silly comparisons. Most GL's are powerless without rings.

Stop being silly, there is NO ADVANTAGE because this is not an actual fight. Yes, Thor with his hammer can surpass Surfer, and without it he can't. What more is there left to say? Do you have anything to add to that? Unless you are disagreeing with those statements then..well, what is there left to say?

Can Surfer fly without his board? Just wondering if it has happened. The only time i have seen was when he was the Keeper and then he also had Quantum Bands, which would seem to b more than coincidence. Just wondering...

Singularities are more destructive than any force in the universe. Destroying a planet with a blast is something to consider too.

Even Odin stated that Thor has even reached his potential, now if we go by that statement what Thor has done over 40+ yrs is not his potential then Marvel needs to get off there a$$, I believe with the right writer who knows Thor history will unleashed the thunder God IMO

Thor is over 10,000 yrs in earth time Hey maybe millions, Asgard time moves different in their universe.

He's destined to be more powerful than Odin, plus Thor being a son Gaea they can have him tap into those powers and abilities also, like a group morph, absorbing earth energy to himself to increase his strength, etc sky is the limit.

His own godly energy shattered his hammer when it had the belt if strength wrapped around it

He was flying around recently in Silver Surfer #7 (2014 series).
