You can't likely uppercut when someone is tackling you for guard. Watch MMA.

Exactly. Also the closest thing that compares to this fight is MMA, which boxing doesnt do so hot in.

A simple basic uppercut guard like Archie Moore/Joe Frazier employed regularly will cover him on the way in.

Boxing punches are more effective than other forms though.
Both sides are good punchers in this.

Tank Abbot a street fighter has had a better MMA record than any boxer.

First of all guy hes not outmatched. Second nobody especially you should say that i know its hard to swollow that your hero is outclassed or whatever. Just take a look at how many times we dismantled every harry potter thread and you denied defeat. Anyways back to this subject. McClane may not be a pro boxer, but hes a professional hero pretty much. Hes faught his way out of worse situation than dealing with a boxer. And hes also his intelligence is highly underestimated by you.
