You may want to think about how you want to approach your investigation into the crowd at the Stain. Akro would not appreciate you going in there and starting problems because you didn't plan out how you were going to handle things.

Vera-Kin rolls three successes as she taps into the Force to quicken her pace. She races along the hedgerow as the Dark Jedi keeps shooting, but as he has not given chase himself, he loses a die due to distance. His first volley scores five damage on Vera-Kin, putting her up to 13. The second misses through the hedgerow.
The miner is running frantically in the direction of Astrune's mansion, still a fair bit ahead of you.
Hmm. Well, I think the first thing to do is to simply try and observe when we get there. Rianna's not the best with reading people, but try and get an idea of the general feel, who seems to stand out more than the rest, etc.
Then from there, ask around a bit, see if anyone has any information on dissenters and who's been putting ideas in their ears.
It is something to think on, then. Miners who are on the verge of rioting are not going to take kindly to a Jedi snooping amongst them, you think.

Being a Jedi Master, Vera-Kin has a comparatively high pool for using the Force in this way. She gets three successes and causes the miner to trip up as he runs, meaning he does not move this turn.
Arneth loses a second die against the range of his shooting, and your Balanced Guard tap (which puts your Defense up to 4 and your Armor rating to 3) is just too much. He sprays aimlessly into the hedge.
Which of course, Rianna being the sheltered person she is, she doesn't have.
Well, I think that when she gets there she'll just lay low and remain quiet and observe for a bit, and see what sort of feel she can get and see if anyone stands out as someone to speak to or avoid.
...or what you just mentioned. Sneaking around and spying on people. Rianna would like that idea.
It would be good for keeping tabs on your suspects once you get some, yes. But first you need suspects.

Vera-Kin keeps the miner from getting up once more so that she can catch up with him, but this time he rolls over and raises the pistol at her, firing back. His shots miss because he only rolls two dice.
Looking up previous offenders is an idea. You imagine General Hirget would help there, since Ord Coridari is under semi-martial law.

Five successes, Vera-Kin, and you no longer have to worry about being shot at (at least, not by the miner) as his pistol snaps into your hand.
"Stay away from me!" he shouts as he gets up to run again, moving toward the street.
