Just sort of skimmed it so far, but hey, more stuff!

Great stuff! Go Anet with the innovation 👆

So... hows the character creation gonna work exactly.. they're still gonna have races and classes?.. I dont even recall them announcing the classes you can pick from

the races have been announced 'Human, Norn, Charr, Sylvari and Asura.

And the classes have somewhat been given. 2 Soldier/warrior classes, 3 adventuring classses (probably ranger and assassin type) And 3 scholar classesx (elementalist being one of them, the rest are sepculation, necro and memser)

This wait is almost unbearable.

If you want to see a truly revolutionary MMO search Tera Online in google.

Yeah terra is going to be amazing.. but I feel as though it might not take off due to people not being willing to drop their current MMO for it

Events in GW have now spread to Lion's Arch, but the system they have available for telling the story is imperfect. Lion's Arch has now been taken by the Shining Blade, but in game it still looks as if the White Mantle run it- except for one small area you can go into to see the new version.

Not their fault- the team isn't big enough to make major changes and it would be a continuity headache for those still playing through the original plotline- but it is still a shame.

Meanwhile, the more they talk about each class having its own healing solution, the more I wonder if the 'removed' spellcaster class would be the Monk. Or maybe the Monk will be re-tooled away from healing. We'll see.

That said, the issue of having a 'healer' is now a very different animal from the original, as it is no longer a party-based system by default.

Oooh oooh oooh stuff happened that I missed? Hmmmmmmmmmm will need to check that out at some point today...

Are there any other cutscenes that need to be seen at the Shining Blade camp for the new area in Lion's Arch to turn up?

Here is the current flow chart for the events of War in Kryta.

Talk about hoop jumping!

I'll be honest, I've kind of given up on trying to follow the War in Kryta stuff at this point. Too much having to check back somewhere that's not terribly convenient to get to to see if anything has changed.

However, wooo, more GW2 stuff! About the whole personalized storyline thing.

Oooh...

And the WiK story is mostly in the Lion's Arch Keep now, I think.

Which I cannot access for some reason, despite having done everything else on that flowchart leading up to it.

(also - double rewards for vanquishing this weekend? AWESOME)

Did you perhaps leave before one of the dialogues was completed? Sometimes they don't finish properly if you leave too early.

Can you get to Zinn's new lab?

Meanwhile, it says it only doubles gold and xp.

Yeah, I figured it out - the scene with Livia bringing Zinn to the camp I left before it finished, because there's a part where there's a pretty large pause so I thought it had finished. Got in now!

(also, the dialogue for one of the supply traders in the camp made me about die laughing - could they have crammed in anymore video game references in one sentence?)

And I actually don't need double points so much right now, since I finished Sunspear the other day and want to finish Kourna before I move on to the Desolation anyway. Double gold is nice though 😄

Hurrah, some more goodies. Looks like they've sort of combined Ranger and Warrior a bit, and also mixed Paragon in. Also - dual-wielding! I will admit I have always loved dual-wielding. A pity it seems like they don't have something like a dagger for the off-hand option.

And the traits thing looks interesting. Sort of like...half-skill, half-attribute. Hmm.

Hmm, we'll see.

(Still wants spear)

Pokepokepokepoke.

I do not see any Dervish-y traits combined into Warrior, though. Not sure if I should be sad they've scrapped the concept entirely, or pleased that they decided to keep it separate. Hmm. We'll see as they announce more info.

Wouldn't be surprised if they end up saving the Dervish for an expansion.

The warrior looks awesome, though. The animation and effects in the game look great.

Warrior looks epic, combat animation is right up there , maybe even better than Aions combat, and thats saying something. How coolwas the dual axe wield vid?? DAAAAMMMNN..!
