Who is the best Assassin?

That was a pistol shit, not a rifle shot. I already said, many times, that Wesley is better with a pistol.

Yet it was sniping distance....Makes you wonder what he'd do with a sniper rifle doesn't it...Oh no wait...We already know...And it's still far more impressive than Swagger.

He made the shot against the can of stew, it was the same distance.

So...You're the one that quoted all the stuff that Swagger stated about what comes into play at a distance shot...Those parameters would've been completely different in the planned presidential assassination...Thus he might have missed...But seeing as he never takes the shot we'll never know...No use speculating on something that didn't actually occur.

Yes, he is. Better than both. Apparently you're one of those people who thinks that all sniping is is making long shots.

Fact of the matter is that they both made shots that Swagger couldn't...That makes them better. Your arguments to the contrary, especially in the case of Wesley, are pointless...Because his 1 sniping feat is so completely and utterly out of the realms of what Swagger can achieve it's actually ridiculous. His skills are even far greater than supposedly superhuman gun experts like Agent Zero.

Even if he is technically the more versatile sniper, he certainly isn't the most effective

haermm It was like 50 feet haermm

And Swagger would be able to make any necessary adjustments on the fly. One thing we saw was him making a mile long shot on the can of stew, so we know he can make the shot under a certain set of conditions.

Now, what you said about the parameters being different/changing in a heartbeat, Swagger showed more than once that he has the ability/knowledge how to make the necessary adjustments. Something Wesley never showed he can do.

OK, ask yourself this:

If a boxer hits harder than his opponent, does that make the hard hitter a better all around boxer?

If an NBA guard can shoot 3's more consistently than his opponent, is he a better all around guard?

If an NFL running back is the fastest in the league, is he the best?

But that's the thing you do not seem to comprehend.

Wesley isn't just some dude who can make a longer shot than Swagger. He's shown at various points in the film he has the reflexes (end gun fight, assassinations), precision (shooting the wings off of flies), and ability to sharpshoot at long range (do I need to say it), all of which mixed together will most certainly create a superhuman sniper that Bobby would have no chance against in a sniper duel.

OT: I really, really wish they can make a film about Simo Hayha so i could put him in fights here.

Let's take the sniper debate here:

http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f102/t551429.html

It's why I made the thread. As for this thread, 47 is the best assassin by screen feats. Him, or Leon. Evelyn Salt would be better, but she's not on the list.

Can't we just add Bourne and end the best assassin debate once and for all

Depends on the equipment issued.

Now, what you said about the parameters being different/changing in a heartbeat, Swagger showed more than once that he has the ability/knowledge how to make the necessary adjustments. Something Wesley never showed he can do.

Actually he blatently states on screen that some shots can be just impossible.

"The challenge is the wind. Lightest breeze uncorrected at that distance is enough to ruin the shot. He's gonna need indicators between the podium and the shooting position.
Velocity corrections are easy, but an angle change, that becomes a trig problem. He's gotta do that in his head on the fly. Without something to gauge, your shot's just too tough to make cold bore."

So no...He can't simply adjust to any situation.

so we know he can make the shot under a certain set of conditions.

So now you're admitting that it's under certain conditions.

OK, ask yourself this: If a boxer hits harder than his opponent, does that make the hard hitter a better all around boxer? If an NBA guard can shoot 3's more consistently than his opponent, is he a better all around guard? If an NFL running back is the fastest in the league, is he the best?

Your analogies are useless...It'd be more useful saying that while Swagger made lots of 2 and 3 point shots from within the court but Wesley made a shot from 4 courts length and deliberately scored.

Next time use an analogy with proper sports instead of your shitty gay American sports though....Cheers.

A good analogy would be that Swagger is the best pro golfer in his world and can hit a hole in 1 on par 3's and even par 4's....In Wesley's universe he can hit a hole in 1 from 2000 yards and mean it. Where as Swagger can't even hit it that far. Add to that analogy that Swagger would be using state of the art clubs and Wesley would be using an ancient wooden shafted 7 iron. Begin to see the difference in skill?

Quite obviously, given Wesley's non sniping feats of accuracy and that of his 1 sniping feat we can deduce he'd be accurate at Swagger's distances with little effort. I mean, he shot the wings off a moving fly with no training and not even looking where he was firing. It's just an entire other world of ability that Swagger can't even dream about.

Incidentally...I watched Salt...Wasn't that impressed...Bourne would've raped her in all holes.

Come on now, when she jumped off the wall a little bit to then punch a guy in the face, that didn't impress you?

It impressed me when she got naked...Oh no wait...That was in Wanted...Yet another reason why Wesley rules and Swagger is a homo.
