Can I clarify some thing do the Jedi get their lightsabers? clothes? anything besides their naked bodies? However lets for a moment assume that the Jedi cannot enter the wizards minds, cannot dispel fienfyre, cannot call on their vehicles. Even then they should be able to via the force steal the wizards potions, wands, brooms, gadgets etc and close the wizards throats to keep them from speaking. Remember Vader could force choke people on other ships at a considerable distance. Even if the get fiendfyre off the Jedi are tough as nails, Ani after being submerged in lava and missing half his apandages crawled up an embankment. So the Jedi may bea bit singed on the other side, but nothing is keeping them from sprinting threw the fiendfyre and engaging the Jedi on the other side either with lightsabers via force assisted jump or force grab/push.
As for fiendfyreing a Starfighter are you serious. The things is shielded and takes hits from astroid shattering laser far more powerfull then anything we have seen from fiendfyre.
So even if we assume force mind manipulation is out, take away half the jedi arsenal, and assume the force will not work on fiendfyre. The wizards still have a solid chance of getting punked.

The Jedi arent getting their starfighters here, dude. This is a battle at the temple, how useful would the starfighters be? They'd lay waste to the place.

Do you have any idea how hot it would have been on Mustafar a meter a away from the lava? Do you know what lava is? Unless fiendfyre is burning lava hot the Jedi shouldn't have a big problem. Even more so consider that they should be able to deflect/absorb some of it.

They wouldn't even need to fire the weapons just fly in and bowl for wizards. Not to mention you had the wizards attacking from afar. While spamming fiendfyre from their broom. So yeah in the open away from the Temple where you had the wizards starting the engagment starfighters would be even more usefull. As in blow the wizards into peices.
Though again nothing is keeping the Jedi from jacking all the wizards gear and chucking them into the Curoscant skyline or choking them out.
OK gals, here's a few more ways the wizards win.
Snape brews up a shitload of Felix felicis, the wizards all drink it. He IS the potions master, you know. "You will succedd in your every endeavor."
Snape obtains a lock of Padme's hair (or a youngling, whatever), brews up a polyjuice potion with it, infiltrates the temple and dumps Draught of loving death into the temple's water supply.
Confundus charm. The wizards can WHISPER the charm from hundreds of feet away, WITHOUT a wand, and cause confusion among the Jedi.
Diversity, ladies, Diversity.

Gunships frag any wizards flying about outside the temple. Fiendfyre is less then usefull against their armor and their are so many of them and can put out such a volume of fire the wizards will not have the time or man power to avoid all their shots and like the Jedi go down to massed blaster fire.
Apparate all you want. When the Clones can cover every square foot with blaster fire it'll be less then usefull.
As for your yarn about deconstrucing fighters or landing on top. The wizards simpley don't have the speed to catch fighters. Maybe gunships or speeder, but even that is a maybe. Further while they are chanting away they are getting torn to peices by blaster fire.
Not to mention. You still haven't really given a good reason why the Jedi can't simpley mind frag'em and knick their sh!t. A Jedi throwing his hand up in a general direction is a tad bit quicker then a wizard pointing his wand and spouting an incantation. Even more so when Jedi are shown to opperate at speeds outside of humans. Able to block blaster bolts at mere meter(s) away and while said bolts are not bullet speed. Just eyeballing the battles in AOTC suggests that blaster can travel at least 200-400fps or the same speed as a crossbow.
To put that into perspective a 1911 Colt .45 auto pistol's rounds travel at a minumum of 800fps. So dodging a blaster bolt at meter is the equivlent to dodging a pistol round at 2 meters at least in terms of reaction time. So unless wizards can apperate at near bullet speeds it wont help much. Nor will they have time for anything fancy before the Jedi grab their wands and brooms etc and KTFO.
