And that is just sad. lol You brought real logistical facts into a video game, used the character model to give a rough estimate of height, went through formulas and processes just to estimate a pillar's weight. You do realize still its fictional?
I mean I can again argue he can't cut through a crate.Gameplay.. As a child he casually slices logs in half with no triforce or strength amping items in MM.
See how I'm wasting time with logic and stats? In 2 D games, Link can still kill Ganon and they never threw a pillar. Different Links, same feat accomplished.Actually, they all had strength amping items of some sort, and the master sword puttign them above Cloud in strength.
In AC, Cloud jumps from building to building cutting the pieces up and nonchalantly doing so. The best feat of his strength is in Dirge of Cerberus where he took one out in one shot. I'd get that cutscene but screw that. Youtube has it, but I'd have to watch about 9 minutes worth of it and I don't feel like it.

No thanks. I still do not see why you went through the effort of estimating the pillars weight to begin with. Its fictional. -_-A kid, 10-12 years of age, does not equal 13 huge knights in terms of strength.
Here are the actual numbers I got when I estimated the pillar's size:
"Calcs.
OoT Link.
73 pixels = 6 ft.
Side length = 143 pixels = 11.753 ft /2 = 5.876 ft.
Pillar volume in cubic feet; 20075.4 [Base x height.] [Base = radius [9.5] x 1/2 side length [5.876]x 6] 334.59
Height = 60 ft.
Weight in pounds per cubic foot depends on the composition.
[usually 166.5 for lighter WHITE granite. Total weight in pounds; 3342554.1]
- 1671.27705 tons.
[Black granite, much more likely; 179. Total weight in pounds; 3593496.6]
- 1796.7483 tons."
and here's the actual power of the throw:
m= 1796.7483 ton short = 1629982.63938 kilogram
v = 125 meter/second = 125 meter/second
kinetic energy (K) = 12734239370.157 joule
The numbers I actually use are almost half that, so ... Yeah. You're wrong, Link is much stronger.
Let's go with 1000 tons, the number I use, to be conservative. Annnd, half the velocity, to be conservative!
m = 1000 ton short = 907184.7399995 kilogram
v = 75 meter/second = 75 meter/second
(K) = 2551457081.2486 joule
Edit: Link in OoT is 17, and TP Link seems to be around the same age. aLttP Link and Zelda II Link are 16.
ok here's the pic, I've outlined in red the part that Seph tk'd, it's a small part of the reactor, and it basically just falls over. So he does enough to break it free... from an already decrepit building. However it is a large section, just not even close to Ganon's feat.

I'm posting it there cause it's a huge photo.
