FF8 party is better than the sages. Rinoa has the power Adel.
Light Arrows aren't any different from Holy and the Master Sword hasn't shown anything uber.

Light Arrows are no different than Holy? What makes you say that? And may I remind you that Light Arrows don't kill Ganon. They always just stunned him, unless you want to bring up LttP which has already been dealt with time and time again.

Adel Adel Adel. I haven't seen ANYTHING that places her above ANYONE. She was some tyrant long ago, and that's it. What evidence do you have that places Adel's power over that of the sages? None! Because we don't know ANYTHING about Adel!

Actually Rinoa has the power of both Adel and Edea, who (edea) in turn has the power of (base) Ultimecia. So Rinoa is actually at least doubly as powerful as base Ultimecia, but due to her inexperience can only manifest it when she goes berserk.
Wiki also has this to say about Sorceress power: ' Throughout the game Sorceresses are seen utilizing telekinesis, teleportation, telepathy, mind control, mental possession, control over the elements, the installation life into inanimate objects, projection of kinetic barriers, the capacity to phase through solid matter, and enhanced strength and endurance. Sorceresses also demonstrate the ability to alter their physical appearance to some extent.'
edit: And I also remember the party killing multiple sorceress' in the end phase of the game, where Rinoa is the onl one to pass it on too so she might be even more powerful.

The Silver Arrows kill Ganon. The Light Arrows are weaker than Holy

All it does is absorb light, shoot weak magic projectiles, and travel through time in the Temple of Time. Oh and it can protect the user from some curses and Telekinesis but its not a strong sword when compared to Soul Calibur, Soul Edge, Dragon Sword, Blades of Athena, Rebellion, Buster Sword, etc.

Adel couldn't be stopped by GFs. Ganon with the Triforce was defeated by knights and old sages.
