do Ruby Dragons even have Reflect?

Yes, they do. Also, Ruby Dragon absorbs Fire, so Charizard seems a bit useless, don't you think? Ruby Dragon uses his breath and disintegrates Charizard.

It's breath has no feats, and Charizard is a physical powerhouse, faster and stronger than the dragon, who can swim through lava unharmed, and keep up with a legendary beast that can run so fast it runs across water. It will slam the dragon onto it's head so hard it'll die. 😐

How do you know he's faster and stronger? You know, I could claim the same, but I suppose you'll ask the same I'm asking. Who cares if he can swim on lava? That has nothing to do with anything. About what legendary beast are you talking about? Charizard best feat let's say is... its Fire, but like I said, Ruby Dragon can absorb Fire.

Does the Ruby Dragon have a feat of strength? Nope. Therefore, Charizard, who does, is stronger.

You claimed Ruby Dragon's breath would disintegrate Charizard, you had no evidence, I provided evidence against that. I'm talking about Entei, who Charizard kept up with while carryin Ash. And Charizard's siesmic toss would ruin a featless dragon.

Ah, so this is the Charizard from the Anime? I thought you guys weren't using Anime.

Ruby Dragon is bigger, I suppose Charizard has the advantage in speed. However, in strength, I doubt it. Also, both can do basically the same, fly, bite, dealing claws attack, Charizard's Fire breath is useless in this case. On the other hand, Ruby Dragon's non-elemental breath would harm Charizard. Charizard, if I recall, didn't defeated Entei, so that is irrelevant. Siesmic toss? I suppose Ruby Dragon wouldn't wait for that to happen.

Charizard could hit it with a Shadow Claw, Dragon Claw, or Metal Claw, if necessary. Or Earthquake. And doesn't the Ruby Dragon only use Reflect if a party member does?

Reflect is being used as a no limit fallacy, has it ever in canon reflected something as powerful as some of these pokemon attacks? Also, Charizard soloes this thread. 😐

I just did some math. Charizard threw a Magmar at a minimum speed of 1800 meters per second.

Charizard is thrown into the lava by Magmar, and flies out, and into Earth's outer atmosphere with Magmar on his back. Charizard then throws Magmar back down in six seconds. (2:48-2:54) where it causes an explosion. Earth's outer atmosphere only starts at about 11 kilometers up. That comes out to 1833 meters per second. Charizard can also fly up that high in a very low amount of time. Charizard is faster than any bullet, and strong enough to wreck shit.

I cannot wait to see where this thread goes from here.

Charizard obviously defeats Ruby Dragon with Hidden Power Ice.

<.< >.> Dare I counter the beloved Zard...

Those aren't abilities from the game? We are using the Charizard from the Anime or game? I'm confused now. Please, tell me.
Yeah, he uses Reflect when a party member does, I forgot.

If we follow with Anime... I don't think Charizard would grab and spin on air with Ruby Dragon that easily, simply by the fact that its arms are smaller and Charizard is smaller than Ruby Dragon. Ruby is also heavier than Magmar, and Magmar, was already weakened at that stance. I highly doubt that move would work on Ruby Dragon.

The Entei was just an illusion made by the Unown.

Reflect isn't being used as a no limit fallacy as there are attacks that can get through (Ultima being one of them). Also Charizard's and Blastoise's attacks are getting reflected.

No it won't. Any of the characters in Team FF can blow the overrated dragon out of the air. Cloud killed Sin Bahamut, Zell and Squall fight dragons throughout the game (including Tiamat and Bahamut), and Ultimecia created things stronger than Bahamut.

TOON FORCE!

None of those dragons have better feats than Charizard does.

Screaming toonforce won't save you. You wanted to use anime against us, now I'm gonna use it against you. Get at me. Also, that's one of the most serious scenes in the entire anime. (Not counting MewTwo's movies.)

😆

I was waiting for it to get to the point where people flat out say it. And they haven't yet, sadly enough. I'll summarize.

If the anime helps the pro side, its okay to use it.

If it is used against the con side, nope. Game takes precedence in that case and the anime becomes null.

Why is Dissidia not allowed if we're going to use the anime, which can be as canon as it wants to be, that is filled with ridiculous moments like that?

Anime is sub canon to the games, that scene in no way disagrees with the games. We're not using Dissidia because it isn't canon to the individual universes of final fantasy, and also screws really badly with the relative power levels of characters, as well as inventing new, non-canon, or previously non existant powers for many of them.

The anime is just a cool story to go along side the games.

Charizard never showed bullet speed in any Pokemon episode I've watched.

How about keeping up with Entei? Entei can run so fast it runs on water. Or how about here?

Fixed 😄

I'll admit the Articuno part is impressive.

You expect me to believe Charizard went 11 kilometers up into the sky and tossed him? You want me to accept that that is in full canon with the game?

That is what the clip shows. Charizard is more powerful in the games than in the show, anyway.

You're missing the point, though. If Sin insists on claiming that the anime is of equal canon to the games, which it isn't, then all of the uber feats contained within stand, and Charizard soloes.
