Holding his own against Wonder Woman. How is this relevant, you say? Well, Wonder Woman fans love to go on about how she's faster reflex wise, and that the strength difference isn't that big. Yet i see some people claiming that he can't do what he does without his powers. So if she's faster and almost as strong, how is he using his speed to stay in the fight with her? Looks like either its skill, or that people are trying to have their cake and eat it too.

another thing i'd like to point out is that so often, it looks like its been argued that this thread isnt just about pure martial arts skill, but combat skill in general. if that IS the case, then Superman is more than just a tier 4. Even when brawling, he uses specific types of blows to get the desired effect (uppercuts to get more lift, etc), and knows how to use his opponent's weaknesses against them. That doesn't count?
Thats fine, however some people are too good to be in the same tier as Superman.

IS the proposed 'Gorgon to uber' Tom Shishido? if so, im opposed. Im not convinced his naturally vast superhuman stats arnt the main reason for his formidability. Although i would certainly call him a top tier - though lack of space means he can't be placed there either.
I would favour him to top in the place of the proposed T'challa and Psylocke though. I just don't think he's quite at the ironman armor ripping stage temugin is. Nor the Train derainling stage Ironfist is, but top none-the-less.

Also against Drakon to uber, on MA skill alone you couldnt argue him above Ironfist. Prolly even Elektra. His superhuman speed seems a main part of his skill set. Whether it's gained through his training and -in that case viable- or is natural, his knowledge and application of Martial arts to perform feats above the standard in top tier arnt far enough ahead of the pack to warrent a bump. Imo.

You haven't conclusivley proved that hes third tier though. Its not always about the source material its how you make arguments. There are too many people in third tier who are much better than Superman and you're scans don't prove it.
