did you not see what battlehammer said?

I mean that has been the argument for why Black Panthers feats can't be used, because it was hudlin and hudlin is biased, despite the fact priest and other writers have written t'challa at a high level for years.

but can I hear your opinion for why t'challa shouldn't b in the top tier, or who deserves it over him?

not sure i remember you voting one way or the other, but I'm curious.

i think Wolverine and Elektra would call him one of the greatest martial artists theyve ever fought, not currently regarded as a top tier.

I certainly couldnt justify him being in the same tier as..Bucky, for instance.
Neither could you, nor anyone else.

And if T'Challa isnt going to take the marvel spot, and Psylocke isnt going to take the Marvel Top tier slot show me someone in Tier 2 who matches Gorgon..i suppose 😕

he's definitely one of the greatest swordsmen in marvel, i don't think he's ever had a hand-to-hand fight, that i remember at least. not saying I don't get your point, but t'challa definitely has the feats, no arguments have been made for psylocke thus far.

Everyone needs to stop being racist and just nominate a white man to the top tier spot instead of a black guy and an asian guy and girl. ermm

That'll solve everything. ermmhappy

i'm not sure if this was directed at me, i just want to clarify that i don't believe anyone is racist, merely that it's illogical to call hudson biased when t'challa was performing at that level years before

im for Tchalla, but im getting the impression that he wont be acepted by the majority, and all im saying is if he's not and psylocke isnt , then theres a whole host of tier 2 choices

that fall well below Gorgon.

I'm saying the "Hudlin used to be president of BET, therefore, his depiction of Black Panther should be disregarded," is a classic example of Ad Hominem Abusive fallacy.

The problem is some of his showings are consistent with other writers eg owning Karnak. So bias isn't always a good argument.

The problem is using a fallacy to try and prove a point is never a good argument.

i know what you're saying, but I'm not sure an argument could be made for gorgon, he might be a beast in H2H, but he's used a sword in all of his fights if i'm not mistaken.

^ Not all of his fights. Went H2H against Wolverine/Elektra before recovering his swords and against the Leviathan group. Still, swords or not (which I'm not sure is a reliable distinction anyway), nothing impressive from what I've seen.

then whats the reasoning for him being placed in tier 2 i wonder? And moreso, where would YOU place him just out of curiosity?

^ Tier 2's good.

Johann is uber.

I'll read the comic and then come back to you uhuh

Groovy.

I'm nominating Phobos to second tier. He's obviously retained his years of training under Mikaboshi as demonstrated by his assault on the White House in Siege: Secret Warriors.

Katana is third tier?
