Harry Potter vs Darth Vader

His hand opened, dude.

Yep But Harrys still dead.

Of old age, one day, yes.

Nahhhhhh cause Vaders too quick, has precog, and direct and crushing immediate attacks and the strawmanning on hand gestures is just stalling avoiding this.

He didn't seem to rely on hand gestures when he was slamming objects into Luke mid sabre battle at Bespin...the gesture is non essential just something done sometimes to help the user focus or whatever. You really think thats Vader's hand in that glove...? lol And he crushed that room without too much pointing at shit and specific gestures.

And? That was to release her. You really think it's feasible that Force-users can't control the amount of force they apply with the Force? Despite the clear indications that they can.

Hand closed, windpipe shut. Hand open, windpipe opened.

Why would opening someones windpipe KO them?

WTF? When his hand opened that was to release her, as he made her pass-out the moment before, when he needed her out.

He was angry and butt-hurt, he choked and taunted her, relished hearing her pleas, but when it was time to clock-in, as Obi was approaching, out she went and he had no need to keep holding her.

Edit:There's a reason why Force-users strain when moving exceptionally heavy objects compared to light ones, they can control the amount of Force they exert. EG Dark Maul hurled a light object with a flick, Yoda looking like he was shitting himself with an X-Wing.

haermm OK, so he did this from one foot away. How does this affect the outcome of the battle? You really think a wizard is gonna allow themselves to be one foot from him?

Screen feats dictate that if in close proximity to Vader, he can KO you when he chooses. Here, Harry is WAY on the opposite side of the graveyard.

I know, I know, I'm gimping. Tell me when Vader KO'd someone instantly, without making them suffer for a bit. Obviously the choking and lack of oxygen led to Padme being KO'd.

ANAKIN reaches out, and PADME grabs her throat as she starts to choke.

OBI-WAN: Let her go, Anakin.

ANAKIN: What have you and she been up to?

OBI-WAN: Let her go!

ANAKIN releases his grip on the unconscious PADME and she crumples to the ground.

Vader choked people to death from miles across the Executor.

A few extra feet aint gonna present any problems.

Yoda: "Size matters not."

Yoda was old and frail at that time, dude.

Your turn.

It means the have to focus more. Thats all.
Hence the 'straining' look, but they can still move massive weighty things.

But its not straining physically like they're out of breath and shit...

Yodas size mattered not, that mean't.

Duuuuhhhh 😛

Way to miscontextualise.

Yoda's size mattered not, nor did the X Wing's size.

Luke: "I can't, it's too big."

Gay.

Dude, come on. Stop being a jack-ass. It's getting sad now.

The Padme scene I just explained to you in more than one way, not sure I can dumb it down further. He clearly has control in choking/The Force. Why he can choke someone and they can still speak, why he can choke someone to death and can only gurgle or KO someone the moment he needs.

Robtards right, RJ.

The force users trained for years in this. They have control... (Reason why Yoda' didn't accidentally fling the Xwing into space or into a tree, and was able to smoothly set it down on the shore.)
