Harry Potter vs Darth Vader

I did.

-Portkeys don't travel to other planets in other galaxies and to undisclosed places in time, iirc.

-The Force is the governing body of the universe. It did create Anakin, at least in part, for a purpose. Very possible Anakin isn't being aborted.

-Foreseeing your death could be had with the Hall of Prophecies.

So my claim is silly as hell, yeah? Pretty much bullshit all the way around, yeah?

I asked for proof of portkeys being able to do everything you claim, cos from what I've seen they're made to send someone to and back to a specific location, like across town to a closet. Not to another planet that's in another galaxy and in another time where said wizard hasn't ever been or knows about, seems like one massive stretch of the power.

So, it's on you to prove it. Go; I'll listen.

All right then, you wanna get into it? Let's go.

Harry knows about the fight years in advance, via the hall of prophesies. He portkeys to Tattoine, uses a time turner, then kills Shmi when she is preggers with Annie.

Next?

i truly truly hate to be the bearer of bad news for you, but harry will not be using a portkey..

portkeys are only used by people who cannot or do not want to apparate

Rob, Rob Rob.......Think about the claim I am making. Think about how ludicrous it is.

Now.....Think about sadako saying that Death Stars and Star Destroyers are "standard Jedi gear."

Think about it.

Vader isn't a Jedi, he's a Sith. Dude does get around on a Star Destroyer as a standard method of transport though, or at least star-ships. He's got no magical broom.

But imo, bringing in Star Destroyers, portkeys, flying brooms, vials of tears, invisibility blankets etc is stupid. Just keep it Vader with lightsabre and Force-powers Vs Potter with his girly wand and spells. Which logically ends with Potter dead, as Vader's vastly the better combatant.

Ah, but you see, there is a difference between:

A: Calling in the cavalry with a radio, and

B: Summoning objects out of thin air. Summoning is a wizard power, to take away one of their powers would be, as you like to say, "gimping."

Wizards can summon the things I listed, by using their wizard powers.

Harry has his wand to summon things, no? His wand is standard wizard gear.

Radios are standard Jedi/Sith gear, we see many a Jedi/Sith using their communicator throughout the films, especially Ep:1-3. Maul and Sidious, Anakin and Obi, Vader and Sidious etc. etc. etc.

So in the end, if Potter is allowed to use his wand to summon outside help, it's only logical that Vader can use his communicator to call in outside help, notably the Star Destroyer that likely brought him to Earth. Though Vader doesn't need to win here.

Either or, bro. Personally, I think it should just be 1 vs 1 and this calling in outside help is lame.

When have I ever said that Harry can summon outside help?

Just before I countered with the Star Destroyer move, I believe.

But even putting that all aside, I still think Vader pwns.

Sure. Vader force chokes Harry, then is death spelled by Bellatrix from thousands of feet high, then is roasted by fiendfyre.

End thread.

isn't bringing in Bellatrix bringing in outside help?

Then why argue that summoning is a wizard power here? If it's a non-factor in this fight, then the same goes for Vader.

So agreed, 1 vs 1, Force vs Magic and no bringing in outside factors?

Vader crushes the boy-wizard, rarely quickly too.

Edit: I see you've brought the "death spell" angle, that would be a death-trap for Belletrix or Potter (if we allow Bellatrix) as that spell won't work on Vader. Boom, you've just killed them both.
