There is no emphasis that they are made of Iron, except within the name. And if that name means they are made of Iron, the Megaton hammer weighs a Megaton.

Go play the game again, Bo says their made of iron himself....theres no reason to belive theres any super magical enhancement....

The boots make you atleast as heavy as Dangoro, when he's on one side of the platform, and you're on the other, they balance out. Add in that they're magnetic and tbh, everythign he does with the boots makes perfect sence.

Possibly so, in that case Dangoro is not as heavy as you believe. Hence, lifting him up would hardly weigh in at around a ton.

Densest fawkin' Iron ever.

So thin slabs on iron>Goron weight. Therefore lifting Dangoro is not really impressive at all.

Circular logic.

At their size if gorons were as light as you claim they'd float away on air. Being iron, and weighing multiple tons = dense as hell.

Not really, we know iron would never weigh in at tonnes when made into light boots, hell you can get boots with steel frames. Theres no evidence to suggest Gorons are heavy at all, and from the fact boots of iron is all a normal man needs to block their weight then their obviously not that heavy. Your daft calculations are not canon....the game is...

Oh and most gorons are not the same size as Dangoro.

I forget, wasn't there a way in TP to find out how heavy the Boots are?

I think there was something in one of the games that showed Link as 4 ft tall as well.

Maybe as Young Link, lol.

Not sure, someone on the forum Screampaste got banned from said something about 4 feet based on something or other.

Yeah, if you stand opposite Dangoro, the physics engine in game says the platform oughtta be level.

Being made of rock and sinking in wateralready prove heavier than you're claiming. The boots show to weight many tons, ignoring this is lulziness of the highest order.

That's regular lightning bolts.. hold on if he can slow down bolts then this whole 'react to lightning speed' thing is over.. But as I said his bolts are the closest thing to real speed, whats being used here are electric orbs not the bolts. Wasn't posted on this thread; YouTube video 0:10 and 0:40.

(On that rain part, the fall speed used was 5m/s when IRL it would be 10m/s.. Besides the point.)

Because he would slow down his bolts when trying to kill someone who could kill him? 😐 Seems rather stupid of him to me.
The point with the whole 'slow down a lightning bolt' was that the opposite should be true, given that lightning would not exist without him.

I see your point on those lightning attacks. Unless they are used in a cut-scene, there's no way to quantify their speed. All we know is that it is composed of electricity srug

(then his attacking speed should be roughly twice as fast, if that rain were falling at 10m/s?)

Ignoring that the boots are simply lumps on iron on Links feet and trying to reach for tonnes because your calculation says otherwise is whats lulziness of the highest order. And i think what BR is refering to is how a platform required Links iron boots to increase his weight enough to move, they increased his weigh by about 2/3x I think it was.

If their just half a ton or so, they would sink in water easily. As I said their not that large.

Ganondorf shoosts bolts as far back as aLttP, the 3d transition sees his electric attacks take on a form quite similar to Zeus', because let's be honest, a sideways Z shaped bolt would look retarded. 😛

Only that the orbs he throws are... well you get the point. Compared to Cole's Shock Grenade, it's also composed of electricity but is thrown at a slow speed, like these orbs in question.

(Yeah, instead of the them seeming 1/5000th of the speed [from 5m/s drops] it would seem 1/10000th of the speed. [from 10m/s drops])

Good grief guys. Even Young Link dodges lightning. Anyone remember Barinade? Yeah, him. He shoots lightning that looks like lightning.

1. OoT not TP.
2. Saw the fight, there isnt a scene or a set action where he interacts with the attack.

Barinade, they did it with him they could of touched it up and done it in TP.

You don't have to play Tennis with Barinade's lightning, which isn't a lightning bolt shaped projectile, it's a full on bolt that crosses the room. Any time the player has to catch or deflect lightning, it takes the form of less ridiculous looking projectile.

TP is getting old. Need more HoT.

Anyway, I'm going to look for more lightning instances, if any.

Enough of the over-wanked HoT. Needs more LttP.
