If the director wanted to work on a movie with a black superhero, why couldn't he have tried asking to direct a Hancock sequel? Seriously! Making Spider-Man black is obviously hurting the fans since he was never black to begin with.
I hear the next Spider-Man movie is gonna be a reboot. Why does it even need to be rebooted? If we want to know what gave Peter his powers, people can just go watch the first SM movie that was made in 2001 or go read the comic books, either one is acceptable.

That's the problem with Hollywood. Whenever they make a movie based on either a TV show, a videogame, or a comic book, they're always gonna change something that makes it stand out from the original plot of said show, game, or comic. They can't promise to put everything the fans want to see on the big screen. Hollywood's main goal is to milk money from our wallets, they don't care what the fans want. That's what I call an evil corporation.
