I see ganon as a junior varisty player while Kain is the varsity captain. He has been around for thousands of years with entire armies after him an dyet he comes out on top whereas Dorf loses to kids, different Links, and hasn't I bet ruled for at least 100 years. He ruled in oot for 7 years.
No, it's stated in the game you cannot be beaten with the reaver unless you have the nexus stone.
Have you played the games? Twilight Princess.
You can see Ganon as whatever you want, but you basically are as blind as a bat. Lol, been around for thousands of years. So has Ganon.
Ganon does not lose to kids. Jesus christ, it's like all of you guys read from the same book of incorrect. >_> He loses to people who have been given the power to defeat him. It is always someone with unshakable courage. This trait gives them the Triforce of Courage. They then find the Master Sword, and manage to defeat him with assistance. And what exactly does ruling length have to do power level? That's stupid.
It's stated in Zelda games that you can't beat Ganon without the Master Sword. And in OoT they weren't even planning on killing him, they were just going to imprison him, because they knew they lacked the power to destroy him.

It's always some hero who sometimes is a kid or who grows up in a temple for 7 years.
It shows how formidable and how competent the character is. If someone rules for 7 years they were a blip on the radar o fhistory whereas if they rule for thousands of years it's because they curbstomped that world into submission and no one in that amount of time was man enough to defeat them.
This isn't in the game and only in hyrule can you only kill him with the master sword that's like saying the Living Tribunal couldn't kill him and he can destroy galaxies with a thought.

Did I say that? He knows what the Master Sword is, lmfao.
Duh?
Haha. George Washington was President for no more than 8 years (don't remember exactly how long), is he a "blip on the radar of history?" I'll apply this same statement to people like Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, granted FDR was President for much longer.
Why does that matter? Because, it was only "stated" that the Soul Reaver makes you unkillable in game as well, yet for some reason it is different for Zelda? Are you like, BT's cousin or half brother?

Yes, little training and little maturity is required for Dorf beatdowns.
We are talking about fictional characters here not comparing them to real world people who can't live anywhere near as long as fictional characters.
Yes, neither make you unkillable or better in these threads but in the soulreaver universe the soulreaver makes you much more formidable than the master sword which was my point.

I doubt this, but I hate Twilight Princess and am unable to remember all of his quotes.
Most Links are unnaturally skilled with their weapons. Even little Wind Waker Link. Those belts that Orca tells you about. Link collects like 12 of them by the end of the game. He has achieved what Orca did presumably over a lifetime 12 times in no more than a few weeks. As for little maturity, lol. I wonder what would happen when you entrust the fate of the world to a normal kid.
That does not invalidate my point. Try again.
Actually your point was that the Soul Reaver is supposedly more powerful, citing it making you unkillable as potential support. I'm actually doubting that you've played Zelda games now. 😬

The Links I have been exposed to possess exceptional skill I will agree but they don't have the experience and are just thrown into this and always beat him. No matter how old the Link is he beats Dorf.
Yes, it does because to validate your point we would have to discuss beings capable of ruling for thousands of years which human beings are not.
I said it made you more formidable within the games than the master sword made Link. The reaver was equally formidable against all challengers regardless of their morality. My point was proven within the games the sword makes you virtually unbeatable while the master sword doesn't.

No, that's not it. Calling Kain a ---- when we have Dorf the same guy who loses to a young boy with about a few weeks worth of training is hilarious.
Also, Link would rip Kain in half.
Originally posted by NemeBroNo, not at all. Link's training begins in tp and he learns enough in a few weeks at best to best Dorf.

Kain would crush Link. I mean he's stronger, faster, smarter, has more experience, has more abilities, can survive without his heart, etc. Link wouldn't stand a chance against Kain.

Incorrect. It is the same Ganondorf and he possess the same power source. Anything he can do in one game, he can do, period.
I still don't think you appreciate the ridiculous work Link has to do to tilt the odds in his favor in every game. He never beats Ganondorf on his own. And age has been proven to be a non factor for Link every time. Before they drop he has more balls than anyone.
You know why most kings were incapable of ruling for thousands of years? They die too quick. Try. Again.
Edit: Quan, Kain is not stronger. His strength cannot touch Link's. Speed is a nonfactor when Link has fought an opponent faster. Intelligence, Link solves death trap buildings before he even gets to his best.

Kain has gone around for thousands of years while Link has a neat adventure and crushes Dorf at the end.
Ok, Kain didn't die quick which shows you why he was and is so great. Dorf is an example of someone who gets beaten quickly.

Stronger? Show me Kain lifting something as heavy as Dangoro. Faster? Show me... Well really show me any speed feat from Kain. 😐 Intellect and experience I would give you. More abilities? Based from himself yes, not taking equipment into account. Can he survive without his head? 🙂

He was not clueless.
As if this means something. Keep downplaying, it makes you look smart. No, really, it does.
Kain is a vampire. They live longer than humans. He can be the most powerful thing in his universe, but that doesn't make him more powerful than anything in Zelda.

It does you agreed most get beaten in a few years so the ones who rule for their entire lives or in his case thousands of years that it's really an accomplishment.
Dorf lives longer than humans too but his reign doesn' teven last 1/1000 of Kain's.
Kain at his weakest can rip through armor and tear hearts out, is stronger than any man, etc. at his weakest.

Yes, because we see Link can barely handle the ball and chain and Bo also bested a goron in a sumo matchup. Link can't throw them in that sort of matchup just when in ball form due to boots which makes it possible meaning it's not a strength feat since he needs gear.
You need to go look up blood omen 2 I am not looking up vids on youtube.
When did tp Link ever cut someone's head off? Maybe I am forgetting something?

And yet I remain sure I could find something that reveals his past memories were I to go look. But it's 2:30 in the morning and I can't ****ing believe I haven't gone to bed yet.
Or it's just because he lives a lot ****ing longer. And no, I did not agree most get beaten in a few years.
So he's beaten before due to Link working hard to make sure he has every possibly advantage. This point is irrelevant anyway. I must get dumber when tired.
After one dungeon Link chucks Dangoro. At this point his full power has not yet awakened. So let's see, Link slightly above his weakest in TP = 200 tons. Kain at his weakest = tear through armor and human flesh.

Dorf doesn't lose his reign because he dies young he loses it because he gets beaten unlike Kain. Kain learns from his mistakes unlike dorf as you claim it's the same one.
You claim he's the same dorf yet he gets beaten by the same guy basically with the same sword every single time which makes him about as effective as bowser.
You have no proof they weigh over 200 tons and he also needs the boots which means without them he can't do it so it's needed with gear.

2. Only he is able to throw the Ball and Chain. Pick up something that would make you have to slowly walk while carrying it. Now try to throw it. Tell me how successful you are. Oh, and don't ignore this like you usually do, show some tact. Bo never wrestled Dangoro, but you would not know that because you have not played the game. 🙂
Are you one of the mentally unfortunate, or just a troll Quan? Seriously.
Put enough weights on your feet to make you as heavy as a bull, and then try to stop a bull and throw it, SERIOUSLY. The boots do not increase his strength, WHY WOULD THEY?
You will of course continue to ignore this point and make your idiotic argument, but hey, no harm in trying, right?
3. ... Are you actually implying Link is not capable of cutting off someone's head?
