Didn't you told me that only high end feats work on the forum?

Batman or Hulk dodging a laser will count as a high end speed feat and as a nanosecond reaction time.

Or only high end feats count for the Surfer?

Those feats are either aim dodging or PIS by definition because we know for a fact that they are impossible for those characters according to what passes for physical laws in their own universes. So they are clearly aim dodging or writers dont know/care that lasers move at lightspeed. There is no other interpretation.

SS on the other hand, has been clocked performing sub-nanosecond reaction feats on panel twice. He has moved a light year and made a grab for the IG in the time it took thanos to half-deliver a punch. There is no comparison.

but it isnt FTL reaction speed b/c surfer doesnt have blur art work in his hands or feet like in DC to depict superspeed.. 😎

Looking at the outside corners of those turns it doesn't look like they're quite 90 degrees. Extremely close, but not quite.
😂

You really have a hard time admiting you're wrong, even on minuscule arguments like this one.

I'm really sick of fodder posters creating some sort of false distinction between combat and travel speed. If a character can move at FTL speeds and has decent enough reactions to stop without completely bypassing his destination by hundreds of thousands of kilometers then its safe to say he has good enough reactions to fight at at least close to light speeds.

Both Surfer and Superman have (at least) light speed combat speed, I'd give the edge in skill and strength to Superman but Surfer really isn't a brawler so it doesn't matter much.

The first line is poorly phrased because there is no 'false distinction' between combat and travel speed. There is a distinction - period. What you were probably trying to imply is that flying really fast without colliding into stuff means that they have insane level of superspeed -- which is what is also wrong, but what you were trying to say.

The examples that nullify your arguments are simple - Green Lanterns. Human ones. They are travelling light-years regualry and don't bump into planets. In fact, accidentally bumping into planets is hard -- even at those speeds. Add Surfer's cosmic senses and mental map of the universe -- and using him flying around as argument of his speed is laughable.

His opinion is as valid as anyone else who has read SS comics.

...that sadly, works at marvel.

he's making it sound like surfer has comparable combat speed to superman when surfer has no such showings

that's tantamount to trolling since he constantly repeats this nonsense even after I've told him

Trolling.............you should know you do it more then anyone. People have opinions you dont like it to bad.

SS>supes

prime and Ca supes stomp surfer thoses are the only version atm i can think of beating surfer, provided it dont go to a fist fight then prolly any version of supes has a chance at it.

OUCH! Someone should get into fetal position

Marvelites must hate Tom Brevoort. Wasn't He the one who said JLA/AVENGERS was canon? 😄

Super human rapidity, that's so lame its awesome.

I don't recall mentioning anything about "bumping into planets" in my post. Did you find that in the Apocrypha or the Director's Cut of my post perhaps?

you know in comics the Ray has to count 1 Mississippi's when he travels at ftl speed.

he then stops and course corrects..

also he cant see nothing but blurs...

and like he said if he doesnt keep track of counting he could be hopelessly loss since its all timing even when it comes to stopping..

he even has to be careful when on earth or he can shoot off into space..

Sadly I have seen people use that argument.

the runner has superspeed b/c his arms and feet blur... SS doesnt so when the runner is engaging in a ftl fight with surfer, surfer isnt fighting at ftl just the runner.. 😮‍💨

I recall it being used to suggest that Quicksilver was faster than Wonder Woman.

SS is in the car sticking out a rod in between the runner so to speak who is a FTL fighter.. hoping to trip him.

but lets be clear runner is a FTL fighter

SS is not he is a passenger in a car moving at ftlfacepalm
