It's only been stated he doesn't age in his Organic Steel form, so he is "immortal" in the sense that as long as he stays armored he'd never die of old age. In his non-armoured his mortality is the same as base line human.

1) Can he stay in his armored form 24/7, if so. Do you have the issue where it's stated

and

2) Do you have the issue number that states he doesn't age in his armored form

I'd like to see this also. I'd also like to see a issue stating he's immune to earthly diseases or whatever Dum Dum said.

If he has too he can stay in his Organic Steel forum 24/7, he's had to several times when he was seriously injured, like when a section of his head was caved in, but he doesn't like doing it.

I don't have any Colossus scans on my comp but I can go through my long boxes this week end if I have some time.

Uh yes he can stay in his armored form forever and in it hes effectively immortal

Honestly, I thought this was pretty much common knowledge...

I knew he could stay armored for as long as he likes but I didn't know he didn't age or whatever while in that form, I'd like to see that.

This time srank is correct.

Then why is he never alive in stories set in the future?

Oh shit! Adversarial team-up!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Colossus has never been stated to be immortal in armored form. I do recall him being stated to not have any heartbeat, pulse, etc. though.

because some people enjoy physical sensation also I think that the big Russie is down to earth enough that immortality is not something that he would want.

I wasn't entirely sure if he was immortal either, but that sort of thing will make you immortal its like being in suspended animation. Not to mention he has superhuman stats.

depends on which ones.

Because he is only immortal when he stays in organic steel form. When he isn't fighting which is 90% of the time, he ages normally.

Oh and its been argued hes immortal when in armour form. Hes not in armour form all the time is he? 😬

hahaha what the **** is going on stop making the same arguments as me. 😆

Would an immortal person have life force?

Presumably an infinite one. It's the reason why Scavanger couldn't kill Wolverine after draining him 11 times in succession, even though with his powers a simple touch normally kill the victim and turn them into a skeleton instantly.

Possible, I'd still like to see the actual quote.

But I'm willing to take it on faith for now.

I haven't seen him alive in any of them.
