There were two occasions that Darkseid has been drained/siphoned. On one occasion it was using advanced New God tech, and even after Kalibak spent a long time siphoning him off and giving himself the power he discovered DS was still more than powerful enough to **** up Kalibak, amp or no.
The other time was when Desaad tried to take his Omega Force (for that IS his life force) and ended up getting pwned by the darkness of the OE. And that was again with a New God artifact, Highfather's Wonder Staff, an artifact with a special connection to the Source.
It's the nature of Specters' powers that would have made it a possibility, not the scope. He has abilities that could have theoretically prevent such an event from occurring. Saying it won't work on Darksied "because like he is totally strong!" doesn't hold a lot of water. Darksied could probably prevent Red from using his powers in the first place with telepathy, but if he just stood their and let Red give it a go, there is nothing to suggest he would be unable to siphon Darksied's life force "because he is too powerful."

Once again: prior to the showing in DOV there was never grounds to think Black Alice had the power to siphon Spectre, and to suggest she did would be making a huge assumption and untenable in a debate. Same applies to Omega Red siphoning people like Odin, Darkseid, Doomsday, and Thanos.
i think people are failing to grip the difference between actual power of a character being independent of their life force, will, spirit.
it's where you are losing people, it's like saying Franklin cant die b/c he is like abstract like.
it's only in power usage independent of psychology nor physiologically

Since you don't understand a point unless it is stated as bluntly as possible: Someone with the HOTU could make the coefficient of gravity = hotdogs, they can't be drained by Omega Red.

In the case of Darkseid, as the Omega Force is his life force, I don't think OR has displayed anything reasonably close to show him being able to control it if he succeeds or succeeding to begin with as others have tried and failed.
I mean, being perfectly honest, srank (and anyone willing to comment/reply), where do you put OR's limits at? Anyone with a life force? It's a serious question, mind you; what would you say is the most impressive foe who succumbed to the deathspores?

In Darkseid's case the Omega Force basically became his lifeforce. When Desaad was draining him he commented that he wouldn't just take his power he'd "become [Darkseid]"
but you should never should have brought it up as it is nothing but a baiting adept. if anything you should have made a more closer reference of guys like Mr. Miracle or Kalibak in his tiger form etc etc..
that's like me bringing Silver Surfer or galactus in comparison to Dazzler, ironfist.
