Before I make the ruling, answer me this question:

Wizards and Ghosts on the field.

Wizards teleport away from the fight.

The fight is, more or less, over since one team is missing.

Teleporting away from the fight....................is not a fight. It's a stalemate, or, rather, a forfeit since the teleporting side is not fighting.

Where do you not see the point I'm trying to make?

Jesus Christ........I already said that restricting the Wizards from apaprating off the field won't matter in the end. What matters is:

People will then say they cannot apparate into the clouds.

People will then try restricting other powers. Summoning powers are already being questioned.

Enforcing this rule will have a domino effect. So what if they apparate to Vietnam? If they do so with the intention of returning to battle, what's the harm?

Those big-old-scaredy-wizards have to brick it and evade.
Therefore they be chickens.

Matt, read and address this:

That's a giant strawman.

Forget about the bomb and then what does your point become? Nothing. You have no point. Additionally, why can a bomb not be used? McClane can use anything around him...and no one would complain about that. But all of a sudden, a teleporter cannot use what is within less than a few seconds of their reach? More gimping. 😬

No matter how you try and spin it, restricting a teleporter's range, if it can be used advantageously in a fight, is gimping. There is not debating this matter. Only stalling the inevitable conclusion of you admitting that it's a gimp and not going to fly.

I will call you and anyone else on it as many times as you try and gimp.

No more gimping. Let them use their abilities. Think of other ways to win other than gimping one side.

Additionally, failed analogies still do not change the fact that you guys are coming up with "ring-out" ideas because you have no imagination. Surely you can think of a way to win other than trying to gimp one side's powers by restricting legit movements?

If a character can teleport all the way across the planet and back in less than a few seconds, then restricting them to a very small area is the epitome of gimping. No analogies are needed. Pretending that a failed analogy or comparison makes that point any less valid is just fail.

The harm is that if they leave the battle field to go to Vietnam, then the fight is not transpiring, hence a f*cked up situation.

Obviously, you're completely misconstruing my reasons for this entire conversation.

See DDM's post I just reposted.

And Harry still cant kill them, regardless of any apparation.

So RJ , you're arguing a kinda twofold loser argument.

No ones discussing the matchup anymore, dude.

Ok, just letting it be known in the meantime that Harry has no recourse against the Army of the Dead.....
just to be understood whilst you carry on with your Mod jihad....

Room of requirement.

More like "The rules of engagement."

So its actually more running away, then, you recommend to the supposedly all conquering, all mighty and unquestionable lords of win-wizards..?!!! 🙄

Letting teleporters go to other countries and whatever to get whatever they need to win is akin to a wrestler leaving the ring and getting a folding chair. Unfair advantage.

Well, since RJ has no way of having his wizards destroy the army of the dead, that is his only option.....as the army of the dead would move at FTGb speeds, ripping colons apart, and tearing arseholes asunder.

*Faster-Than-Grail-bunny speeds

Getting literal butthurt from undead ethreal warriors....sounds incredibly painful, and even more entertaining.

Well they too have long felt the butthurt of an ancient curse...only seems logical that angry quasi-medical rectal surgery be their first port of call in the violence stakes.

Ectoplasm...EVERYWHERE!!!!

Also RJ, I never said that they couldnt apparate inside Hogwarts, that was somebody else.

Anyways, I read the wikipage on the Room of Requirement, and isnt it true that it can NOT make food? Or water? It breaks some rule or something.

Also, I dont believe the combatants here ever found it, in which case, they cant apparate to it, as they have to envision the place the are apparating to, no?

Besides, thousands/millions of ghosts, they just fan out and search the entire Earth, they have a long time to do that you know.

Nope. It is inside Hogwarts, therefore it is within the battle ground.

Water can be conjured with a wand. Food? Can't be conjured, but Dumbledore made food appear out of thin air in the great hall.

The Room of Requirement appears when the wizard greatly needs it. I'd say an army of the dead knocking on their door falls under this.

Let them. They aren't finding the room of requirement, dude, they aren't wizards.

The wizards can't beat the Army of the dead (No one can), but they can easily escape.

IE Runnnnnnnnnnnn awaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy....

You can NO ONE can.......... Aragorn COULD, BTW.

Nah, they're INSIDE the designated battleground. The room of requirement is inside Hogwarts.

Have a nice day.
