Yes Sir.

Catwoman: "you don't owe this city anything, you've given them everything"

Batman: "not everything"

Great stuff

I always love manly sacrificial deaths... to the point that I kind of even liked Battlefield LA. 😮

I've already seen Avengers four times. 😎

Honestly, I thought the TDKR trailer they played in front of Avengers was pretty mediocre. The should have cut the background music off to build tension when Batman says "I haven't given them everything... not yet." Then had it come booming back in. They must be saving the good stuff until the movie is closer to release, because you just know there is a scene of Bane breaking Batman that would blow the lid off everyone's measured expectations.

Oh man, it gave me goose bumps. Especially, that particular dialogue.

i'm hoping for a Bane back breaker.

I can't see them not having that in the movie without comic fans being hugely disappointed.

Here's my guess for the film's structure.

- Bane get released on that plane by reps of The League Of Shadows, on the order of Ras Al Ghul (Liam Neeson is making a cameo, isn't he?) He is given the manpower and the knowledge of finding out about Batman and how to cripple him and Gotham City. Selina Kyle is a freelance mercenary of some kind who is sent as an infiltrator.

- Bane starts terrorizing Gotham and forces Batman out of his forced exile (Commissioner Gordon, who seems to be dying in a hospital bed, is personally asking Bruce to return.)

- Batman arrives but after his long layoff finds he is not a match for Bane, who cripples him in the sewers and has it filmed for display. Bruce is abducted by Bane ("Why didn't you just kill me?" - "Your punishment must be more severe."😉 and is tossed into a deep hole somewhere in the world (the exchange between John Blake & Selina Kyle in the film: "Did they kill him?" - "I don't know."😉

Was it Bane's idea to toss Bruce into the hole, or was he acting on orders from Ras? I think it's implied that if Bruce is truly worthy, he can pull himself up from his lowest point and come challenge for Gotham. Hence the last act where he & Selina are working together.

Well?

i don't like trying to guess plot points from trailers 'cause they're always out of context.

not happening , but i do believe just by viewing the very trailer bane injures him somewhat

it doesn't have to result in Batman being cripple, i would settle for move itself.

Here is a little info I got from another board.

This is what is known from the person (From SHH) who was at the WB screening:

1) TDKR Is far superior to TDK

2) Bane has such a strong presence that makes you almost forget the Joker even existed

3) The Film did indeed get a Standing Ovation

4) Grown Men came out of the viewing crying...its an absolutely emotional ending

5) There's quite a bit of action compared to the previous films, but that it doesn't overshadow the immense heart and depth of the story

6) Full story is told with more-than-adequate depth, development and conclusion in the WB cut

7) He be shocked if WB marketed a Bane Mask replica towards children, considering the purpose of the mask in the film. (When he was told about the bane mask in the halloween costumes he replied) "Yeah, that's awful. I mean, it's always fun to be a baddie for Halloween, but Bane? That mask is literally part of what makes him a villain. It's like including the Joker's knives with his costumes. I would say it's a wrong move."

8) Compared to the avengers its apples and oranges. The source loved Avengers and he was blown away by TDKR. It's hard to compare, though - they're quite different . He said they're both rollercoaster rides, but TDKR is kind of like a really creaky, old coaster where you feel it could fall apart at any second (and that's a good thing...it's similar to TDK in that it builds and builds, and it's scary. The analogy works because you do end up at that safe place. But the ride itself is exciting and unpredictable.) where Avengers was more of a solid-but-exciting ride. They're nothing at all alike.

^ That sounds very promising.

^ People have seen TDKR??

^ According to Prep, yes.

Probably some sort of 1st cut, or not completely edited version.

I don't believe that for a second, but I'm more skeptical than the average person.

Anyone who has seen TDKR this far out is probably a studio exec or related to the film production in one way or another.

You never know though, TDKR could actually get a boost from how well the Avengers did.

When people pick the next movie to go to they might just pick this one based on how good a movie Avengers was as a comic book film.

Spider-man would benefit from that more than TDKR I would think. Sony should start playing up the humour in there next trailers.

I think I have to take back my initial post.
At this point i'll be very impressed if DKR fairs better than the avengers.
Now i'm wondering how much an avengers sequel could potentially make.
