Based on him being the better opponent and AHEM, I believe it was agreed upon that you don't count, so shuddup please.
Originally posted by unrealmanSame as Kratos. Kratos attacked certain weak spots on Cronos while avoiding and fleeing for his life. Gabriel has the strength to rip through Kratos' soft flesh.
huh Gab never physically over power the Titans in Lords of Shadow. he just attack their weak spots, which are magical runes place on various spots of their bodies.
Originally posted by CosmicCometIt's the same thing as gabriel did more or less. Kratos avoids him as cronos taunts him until he can really inflict damage from the inside of his stomach. Gabriel would have to avoid him as well and damage him in the same manner to beat Cronos due to his sheer size. Flesh to me is usually less durable than compared to stone.
There are no 'soft' spots on a titan.Kratos has never had to hit a soft spot to do damage.
Any spot he has ever tried to cut on a titan, has gotten cut.
Their hands? Cut. Their forehead? Cut. Their backs? Cut. Their gut? Cut.
Originally posted by CosmicCometProbably the Unforgotten One since he cut him up nice and revealed weaker points. The guy didn't have many feats outside of his body being completely immune to lava, picking up largue pillars while breaking through a prison of sorts, and breaking through other cages type structures with his body. The guy was the sovereign power of his dimension and was said capable of destroying earth by himself but at the end Gabriel absorbs some of his power and then easily rips his body in half with no effort.
What is a durability feat for the toughest thing he has cut through? If it's not on Titan durability level, I will plainly tell you.
If it's not, then absolutely not. He will not cut Cronos.
I don't see Cronos as being uber durable just gigantic. To me it's like a bug or bee they can still pierce my skin despite me outweighing them by a huge difference.
So lava and the durability to support some minor level strength feats.
Ok.
Not good enough.
Weak ass Haephastus himself bathes in lava. Kratos has withstood a volcanic eruption with no damage--which by the Gabriel has no feats to suggest he can get anywhere near that kind of force. Atlas (a peer of Cronos and also a 'fleshy' titan) was point blank within the explosion of the pillar of the world and didn't even feel it.

Yes, it is good enough considering you seem to think human beings are immune to bee stings despite being able to be punched in the face by a human yet can still be pierced by a bee. Same thing.
Flesh is flesh.
If I try and squash a bee and it stings me I pull my hand away in pain so imagine a tiny man with a sword and a functioning brain attacking me would be a nightmare especially when he can temp blind me and the skill in which Kratos has demonstrated. If he cuts under my nail I will be feeling it or if he survives being swallowed he can cut through me.
You just have to look at real life examples and what can pierce human beings. By this logic because someone can hit me with a lot greater force than a bee can ever muster I am supposed to believe a bee can't pierce my skin.
Originally posted by NephthysWhatever numbers they throw around will be just speculation anyways. What i seriously don't get is people trying to really argue this stuff based off of real world physics and like the feats are supposed to gel together into one neat little puzzle.
You guys should totally have Scream (or other) calculate the PSI necessary to penetrate Kratos' skin and then compare it to what Gabe can dish out. That'll clear this thread right up.Alternatively you could just say Quan isn't worth that much effort and tell him to screw off.
Both seem strong enough to hurt the other based off of cut scenes, game play, and portrayal.

Well seeing as Kratos took a volcanic explosion in the face without any harm, that number would be astronomical as that particular eruption was the one that inspired the story of Atlantis. It was about 600 Megatons, and seeing as how even a simple little missile generates about 700 tons per square inch of force, well you get the idea.
