Galactus vs The Celestials...

They were ALT reality Celestials, lest we forget. And Reed owned them with an entropy gun he invented. At least against Reed they fled. So according to Marvel :

Reed >>> 616 Galactus >>>any single ALT reality Celestial >>>>>>>Two ALT reality Infinity Gauntlet users

Except no, in the issues with the council, it was explained that the IG's only worked when inside their parent universes, which is why the Reeds with IG's couldn't do anything with them to prevent the Celestial attack.

So really, it's not Marvel being stupid, it's just that the Celestials killed two guys with fancy looking gloves.

Except no, again! 🙂

One of the Reeds picked up the IG and started to attack the Celestials with it. Yet still they didn't back down or retreat. Reed whipps out a random gun in his inventory and annihilates one of the Rogues and the rest turn tail and flee.

There were 4 celestials, now there are only 3.

Is one off panel?

No? There are four on panel still. Except one is dead cause of Reed's device.

He was already dead.

Nah, he was right.

Alternate IG's only work within their respective universes, apparently:

There were 4 on panel until Galactus killed one of them... Or was that one just KO'd? Wasn't sure.

This fight also proves another thing:

Very well fed Galactus>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>2000ft Asgardian Destroyer!

2000ft Destroyer couldnt do anything significant to the Celestials. On the other hand, Galactus was manhandling them and actually killed one until they went into devastator mode against him...

LoM, these aren't 616 Celestials. This fight proves nothing in terms of Galactus vs the 616 Celestials or the 616 2000ft Destroyer.

If he really did kill it, how did they gather round it and transform into Voltron? Because when Reed REALLY killed it, they broke apart into their individual selves.

Knowledge is POWER!

Reed killed one and they ran. Galactus supposedly kills one and they reform and kick his ass.

Reed > Galactus.

Do you have any proof that these Celestials arent the equal of their 616 counterparts?

Can a Celestial (energy) even be KO'd?

I thought Galactus 'killed' it (there were NO visible signs of life left, at least), but the others were still able to activate the polymerization card and transform into the mecha, because said Celestial's body still existed. Then when Reed destroyed the body, they defused. That's how I interpreted it at least.
srug

Because you are smart(ish).

@zopzop

Even if the Big-G simply KO'ed that Celestial, its still a far greater feat against them than what the 2000ft Destroyer was able to accomplish...

Yeah...seriously.

Do you have any evidence supporting them being weaker than their 616 counterparts Big-C?

😂

Even if these are the real Celestials, they have been affected by the Galactus' JOBBER EFFECT..JK. Anyhow, I think we can say that Galactus was pretty much feed and was ready to lock and load.

Well we never seen a 616 Celestials turning to Voltron.
