His shield reaction speed is up to par and after it's up, game over. You're not going to beat Doc by only brawling.
I still think that you are selling Gladiator short when he could move so fast that Strange wouldn't even see him coming, and tear his head off. Strange is powerful, or can wield vast amounts of it, but he is essentially human. This is a glaring weakness, that other Heralds should be able to exploit. Saying that Strange alone could beat the Annihilator's in my opinion is a bit short sighted, because it fails to highlight or consider their power sets.
There are certain characters that were simply made to beat others. Just because Dr. Strange could beat Quasar, and Quasar could beat Gladiator, does not mean that Gladiator could not beat Dr. Strange.

I don't think Superman is as great as people make him out to be. I would give top slots to characters like Thor, Genis, Silver Surfer, and maybe classic Warlock. I can't justify picking Superman above any of these guys in my mind.
Well Superman is the physically strongest of them and the fastest (combat wise). He's just not as versatile. But in one on one situations he's definitely in the top slots. This is because his powerset is actually an advantage most of the time, mainly because of it's simplicity with speed. Sometimes it is better to be able to do 3 or 4 things well than 100. This is because one has to think of which of the 100 things to do (which takes more time). So in theory, Superman, assuming he's not faster anyway, can pull off things before others can. But against all kinds of threats (magical, intangible, etc.) I would give it to the ones you named first (except Warlock).

Quasar can beat Glads though. They preach fought and Gladiator was tooling him.

Warlock definitely outclasses supes against magic/intangible threats...

To be fair to Superman, his dynamic raw physical attributes coupled with his skills, force of will, and intellect, makes him a top contender against virtually most threats.
Not to mention a lot of his "PIS powers" that occured even post crisis.

Speed can more than make up for versatility, especially in a forum fight.
I mean one of Flash's only powers is speed. Yet he can do many things with it and compete with ANY herald, forum or in a comic.

If you want to call it that, that's fine, but it's not something that's ever held him back, or would hold him back tbh. Please elaborate.
When he said forum wise he meant that Superman would be at a larger disadvantage in a forum than in a comic. What he doesn't realize that although he faced more versatile foes in comics, he didn't always use speed as effectively as he has shown before. In a forum fight, it would be either be no different or Superman would use speed a little more thus minimizing the versatility gap (making it better for him in a forum vs. a comic).

how so? with the exception of thor/brb.. hulk type characters...everyone else in high herald tier has comparable speeds, so clarks speed wont factor AT ALL
