USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (DARK SIDE)- Enemy

Oh, Seduction is an awesome skill for the social approach here. Ah, we shall miss Tanic...

You haven't got time to make friends before you get there. Any gamblers you meet will be inside the casino, and you'll need to impress them.

We need to start getting a broad plan together here, as you guys will be slowing up the Light Side soon!

Oh yeah, he also had Seduction, didn't he...

Social bastard.

Okay, broad plan.

Go to Robine posing as businessmen or merchants or whatever backstory we agree on for our party. We can't be out-and-out us or we won't get very far. I'm sure our socialites can concoct something.

Acquaint ourselves with some gamblers, and invest in a couple/few after observing their talents. Leave our goals vague, keep them in the dark, though maybe imply that we've got business with Merik so if they ask what our purpose is, they have something to chew on.

Help them gamble their way to the top by various methods. Use the Force where necessary and whatever other forms of cheating we can figure out with these games they have to play.

Get the 2 million credits we need and get up to Merik's level.

Have words with Merik, murder him to death, and get the hell out of the tower before they lock us in. We need to figure out how well they can lock it down, as well as where they control it from so that if it comes to a climactic fight as it is likely to, we can shut off the defenses and bounce out of there.

Just from a logical paranoid rich businessman point of view, you are pretty sure Merik has a way out of his own tower, regardless of its security state. Handy to remember tat a tower is not easy to escape from, though. You may wish to have an exit strategy worked out (remembering that you totally failed to do that at Selene).

Let's start with some basics though- what are you bringing in the way of weapons?

We also completely failed at an exit with the Ghost Citadel.

(I will never let that one go.)

Lightsaber of course.

Well, one must be aware of the danger of carrying your lightsabres. If spotted, there is trouble.

Xavier will make sure to hide his lightsabers on board his ship. He might not go out with them but he definitely wants them around 😛

Rianna's not going saber-less again 😛 She's a sneaky person, I'm sure she can keep it hidden on her person. But she's having it with her, full stop.

Xavier might take the Electro Staff with even though he has no weapon Schticks 😛

Concealing at least one lightsaber should be no problem for Galder with the slot for it in his cybernetic arm.

But for everyone else, what can we do to conceal them, Ush?

Well, we can conceal them in clothers, obviously?

Could we use Xavier's ally to help with escape? Or what about Eller helping with this part?

Azarl will take his lightsaber I suppose. He can somewhat fight unarmed too.

Your ability to conceal your sabres will depend on your skill set. Failed rolls to blend in will lead to exposure.

Can those of among us who are unable to really hide things well entrust their lightsabers to a cohort, or store them on the ship?

Rand presumably knows how to hide his, being the all-powerful master and glorious leader that he is.

Storing them on the sip is fine. Giving a reasonable amount to a friend is ok but may mean you don't get your weapon at the start of a fight if you are not by said friend.

And yes, you 'hide' it in your defeated enemy's chest, normally.

Having them on a cohort is better than having them on the ship. I don't suppose we could build some kind of device to hide them in, a briefcase of some kind that would be immune to scanners and such and have one of us carry it around?

Mwahaha for being an Intrusion nut...😛

Just to be certain, the compartments in Galder's arm give him a pass for the things hidden in it, despite probably not having the right skills for concealment?

Do we need to even hide anything that isn't a lightsaber? I assume Relle can do that just fine but could she openly wear her guns?

Star Wars seems pretty gun tolerant, but this is not Hutt Space, so there must be some caution on a weaponry display. There would be nothing innately illegal about the sabre display; the problem there is simply that someone might tip off the Bureau.

Unfortunately, they do see enough of the rough side of life out there to not be fazed by an artificial arm's capacity for hiding things, so no go there I am afraid.

The problem with a large scanner-resistant briefcase is the that anywhere with a scanner will also have people searching large and obvious bags, in case they are scanner resistant.

It will likely be helpful if you consider that people have already tried just about everything you can think of. Your normal trump card is that you could just kill everyone there, but the Bureau stymies that as an option.
