It was amazing tactical maneuvering in Bauer's part. There's a reason the F-35 pilot didn't catch up with Bauer, and that's because Bauer took deliberate steps to prevent it because he's an invincible badass

The 24 pilot did not make nearly such a suicidally-stupid mistake.
