Ask Black Adam.
Punching Prime in the face DOES work.
Ask the Teen Titans and Legionnaires, who knocked Prime OUT
(as SBP and as Time Trapper), as shown several pages prior.
As for your first comment, I see what we have here is not myth but miscommunication. I wasn't including simple bum rushes as blitzing.
I'm not using blitzing in the sense of someone lining up and rushing a quarterback. No, there's a reason I kept on emphasizing "blurring and flurrying".
Superspeed used to make himself too fast to hit, too fast to see, too fast to counter is what I mean by blitzing.
We've seen Superman do that. I don't think we've seen that from Prime.
Hulk has handled the level of non-winning speed you've shown in most of the respect thread scans you just presented.
If time permits, I might address those individually.
Thank you for showing those. Gives a framework we can use to present this a bit more systematically.
SBP versus Connor tackle.
SBP versus Sodam Yat (which is, arguably, Yat tackling HIM).
Compare that to Superman tackling Darkseid in Superman/Batman #13 and to Gladiator tackling Hulk in their fight, trying to take Hulk out of orbit
(SBP's tackles don't take his opponents nearly as fast or far as Superman's or Gladiator's did to THEIR opponents, incidentally).
Note that none of these power tackles proved, all on their own, the decisive stroke in a match.
Note also that, WITH Gladiator using such a direct method, Hulk was able to counter with a thunderclap to Gladiator's ears, crater them both back to Earth, and proceed to beat the crap out of Big G.
(It would be much appreciated if someone illustrated these points with relevant scans. Thank you in advance to anyone who does.)
