I guess the trailers are working, it's too bad. I remember superman returns was a decent attempt.. if only that had a good sequel.. any gene hackman cameos? or is answering that question considered a spoiler?? 🤨

Had not been this hyped up for a movie for a while now but Man of Steel disappointed me overall.

Zod had to be one of the weakest villains I had ever known in a movie and it never seemed like Superman was in any danger throughout the whole film. Overall I thought they could have done a better job with the villains and yes there was no build up. Just nothing in the film but blind smashing around.

i loved this movie.. it is so different to the previous superman films.. don't get me wrong, the donner films are untouchables in terms of comi-book movies.. but man of steel, this movie is just.. i don't even know how to describe it.. no one has ever seen this iteration of superman, that's for sure.. everything was a departure from the olden superman.. he is darker and edgier.. and he's an alien with too human problems.. i love this f*cking movie.. and jor-el was just pure win..

I hope this does well so the next one we can get a good villain.

Hopefully, Doomsday or Brainiac, but it'll probably be Luthor...
