Man of Steel (2013)

I could have done without the giant metallic octopus.

It was not needed. It was like:

"Yo dawg! I heard you like action. So we will give you action within the action!"

Yeah that scene whas just action for the sake of having action in a Superman movie.

However I've heard others complain about the final battle in which it was too much like the "Matrix" 😐?

Neo vs Smith felt like what a Superman fight should feel. In fact that fight was one of the main reasons I was looking forward to Returns. Sigh.

Matrix fight was better.

Well you have to admit it ended almost exactly like the Neo vs Smith fight.

And it might be just me but I though it would've been badass if Spuerman and Zod spent just a tad bit more time fighting in space. That portion of the fight was awesome.

hope not, it would be nice if he returns for Man of Steel 2, if only to be shown in the phantom zone

I'd love more Shannon, but him being alive would ruin Man of Steel's ending. We could have more Shannon's in flashbacks.

what i am curious about is how he is going to turn that

big ass spaceship into the fortress of solitude.. i'm pretty sure that will be the foundation of the fortress because there are no crystals.. his little spaceship is inside that blackhole.. the only thing left is the space ship and the AI, which was overridden by zod, btw..

the sequel will probably be out in 3 or 4 years.. its gonna be a long 3 or 4 years wait..

I want Darkseid or Doomsday...kill superman then bring him back

I saw it today with a friend and tomorrow with my girlfriend

I kinda guessed some things in the film such as

when the truck driver went outside I said to my friend 'he's wrecked the guys truck,' and he had. The ending of the Zod fight when he was aiming his heat vision at that family I said 'I bet he's gonna break his neck,' and he did

Darkseid needs to be saved for JL and his very own New Gods movie.

darkseid should be somewhere down the line.. not in the next movie, or two..
