Puppet master Luthor is best

Sigh, not having that constantly rehashed bald guy (done more than even Magneto) was one of the things I loved about MoS, but I can still see him making a comeback... As long as there's one of those other mentioned villains (while saving the bigger guns like Doomsday or Darkseid for a 3rd film) it'll probably still be worthwhile.

I just think it would do better character wise to not juts put him right back in a situation he can just punch his way out of

I wouldn't mind seeing Lex if he's actually like the comic character... Hackman and Spacey (to a slightly lesser degree) both played buffoonish versions of the character. JLU and Young Justice, and hell, even Smallville did the character better.

I think Mark Strong could pull it off.

👆 Strong is an excellent choice for a serious Luthor, imo.

Cumberbatch could likely work as well. Charles Dance has the always calculating intelligence down, but probably too old for the role now.

I wouldn't be against Rosenbaum, and I hate Smallville.

While possibly the best actor out of the meh show, imo, there's much higher talent out there to play the ruthless corporate genius.

Mark Strong wouldn't be bad, but I think i'd prefer someone like Fassbender.

I'd want Fassbender to play Lex, Superman, Batman, Flash, Hal, and put him in black face to play Cyborg.

Too bad he's already in the X-Men movies and likely about to start a long franchise of Assassin's Creed movies.

It never will. Ubisoft want almost total creative control which is understandable given what they have invested into the assassin's creed mythos. But no studio or director will go near it cos of that. As for all the people who get 'rumoured' to be part of films that never get past the screenplay. It happens all the time. That's all the talk of Michael Fassbender will be. There's even claims of a release date despite not having a director. Which is supposed to coincide with the tentative release dates for avengers 2 and star wars. Never gonna happen.
