that was one of the most ridiculous reviews i ever read. its like he totally forgot that he is reviewing a movie about a crime fighting superhero who beats up alien invaders on a regular.

"The tension in the movie was that he wasn't Superman until the end. When he became Superman and went all-out in that final fight I just completely lost interest and got bored."
Durr.....
"He didn't save enough people."
Oh you mean other than the numerous times he saves people in the movie on top of, y'know, the whole ****ing planet?
"Its too cynical"
Tough shit.
"No, really. Superman should be uplifting."
No, you just think it should. Your imagined preconceptions of what a Superman film should be like is your own problem. You should judge the movie on its own merits, not those of Superman: The Movie.
"Superman only had 20 lines and was completely flat."
Did you actually watch the damn movie?
"It was boring"
😐
Quite a bit of it seems to be people just being really anal and getting oversensitive and fan ragey over how they felt a Superman movie should go. Just standard 'they changed it now it sucks' nerds pissing and moaning about how an adaption fails to live up to their perfect standards.

Man, I'm pretty disappointed that I missed so many of those easter eggs. One things for sure, DC is a lot more subtle than Marvel with their easter eggs. All of those nods to different heroes being included in the movie makes it even better for me.

Theres even more references outlined in that page. So far, that makes Superman, Batman, Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern, Booster Gold, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, and Aquaman. We've had easter eggs to the main 7 and a few extras.
