btw, there was a moment of "feel-good" when he first learned how to fly... he was down right giddy. This was a serious movie with appropriate and timely moments of levity.

I was giggling like a schoolgirl when he dons the suit and Crowe is talking about him testing his limits.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lex if he's actually like the comic character... Hackman and Spacey (to a slightly lesser degree) both played buffoonish versions of the character. JLU and Young Justice, and hell, even Smallville did the character better.I think Mark Strong could pull it off.
It's always a good idea when you agree with me.
Originally posted by MindshipYa, I want him to give off the same vibes Ozymandias did in Watchmen, without the kung-fu. He needs to be a step (or ten) ahead of all heroes he encounters. Encountering him should feel like a battle the hero cant win because of the scope of Lexs plan and intellect. I don't want him to come off as insane/nutty as he did in Returns, or as sympathetic as he did in Smallville (although I loved Rosenbaums take on him to most out of all live action Lexs I've seen). He just needs to be an evil, billionaire, genius businessman.
I want Lex to look smart, not tough. We already did tough with Zod.Clancy Brown did a great toon Lex. I liked Rosenbaum's spin too.

Strong always places a good villain
some of the concept art for MoS.. they have one that is way too close to the green lantern costume, all sinewy and sh!t.. then there's one concept art of faora that is just droolio ..
^ Hokey Smokes. There are some great pics there...I trust they'll be showing up in avatars and sigs soon...including Faora.
What I really like about this new suit is that they did a great job getting away from the spandex look. The new suit (and yes, now it really deserves the term "suit" or "uniform," not "costume"😉, looks almost like a futuristic flight suit, or an armor undergarment (not unlike what T. Stark might wear).
Thank Rao they finally came up with a good look, one that's realistic and fitting (no pun intended) for a live-action man. Superman's traditional costume has always been one of the two things that I just did not like about the character. But not anymore.

Some people are funny. Seriously. Some say it is the worst movie in existence and others claim its boring. I wonder if we all watched the same film.
And yeah, nice pictures/concept art.
