Only problem i had with it was how they had to kill off Zod thought we were over these thingsput a villain in one of these comic book adaptations and we have to figure out a way to kill him off during the script writing process.
I hear you. I actually had no problem with Zod dying only how he died.
I never really got how a farm boy with no fighting experience and who barely learned how to use any of his powers was able to just nap the neck of another super being. I guess it must not be that hard.

Growing up on a farm, Clark probably had to snap a chicken's neck here and there.
Originally posted by Kotor3Clark did have more experience and knowledge of his powers. That was an advantage he had that paid greatly throughout his encounters with Faora/Nam-Ek and later Zod. It was actually quite cool how Zod and co. closed the gap with their superior combat skill.

what the hell does snapping someone's neck have to do with having fighting experience? bermmalso, Kal was getting his shit pushed in during the entire fight with the other Kryptonians due to them having the training he lacked.
Because
Originally posted by marwash22I agree. It sort of looked like they did have history together. I don't really like Jor-El beating Zod. it diminishes his character. Still I may be reaching, but who says Jor-El didn't train in combat? He was the one with the mentality of "What if a child dreamed of becoming something greater than society had intended"
I figure Jor-El was also in the military, but he was a scientist and Zod was more of the war strategist.i don't really care, i just know i liked it.
