Yeah, Pak was nuts. It's actually kind of impressive the detail and lengths he went to to more or less undo all of Hulk's low end showings. Wouldn't be surprised if he visited a battleboard prior to writing some of his books.

I think Hulk or anybody else being able to contain 133 Herc's worth of power and basically be okay is beyond stupid. It's quite literally the stuff a rabid fanboy would write in a fan fic, imo, but it is canon and happened on panel.

And it's not even Hulk's best feat, nor even better than the high end Savage Hulk feats!

And again, it's 133x the power of Hercules' best punch != 133x The power of Hercules.

I really hope Pak doesn't feat whore Superman out to the point where it's basically just stupid fan service, but it's likely to happen. And Batman's likely going to be pushed to the moon, pulling off absurd Cho like deductions and mathematics that don't even begin to make sense.

As a fan of Superman and someone who actually enjoys the New 52 version a lot more than he originally thought, I hope Pak doesn't jump the shark here.

Same. I'd like some nice feats, but not at the expense of the character.

I came to hate Pak's run on Hulk, and it actually put me off the books. I don't want the same thing to happen with this.

Pak has a tendency to push any character he's currently writing. It was the worst with Hulk but it happened with Skaar (Trillion Ton punch, lol), Cho, and it spread to Hercules/Olympians when he took over.

Hercules became the most powerful and greatest Skyfather ever, recreated 99.9% of the Multiverse even. It's kind of funny actually.

Pak can be a good writer, it's just when he has feats overtake story that it becomes a problem. His Incredible Hercules series was freaking awesome, that Thorcules/HercuThor arc was some of the most fun I've head in the last decade reading a comic easy.

Herc gets a pass more I think, because his book was always written to be a little tongue in cheek. At least, that was how I saw it.

Tbh, Superman/Batman is going to be a book about how they're the best thing ever in DC and it will systmetically shit on everybody else. I don't really have a problem with that or crazy feats as long as the story is fun.

Although on the other hand, everytime Superman gets a new high end feat some idiot argues how it means he's stronger then everyone else.

Superman will be quantified as being like as strong as 27 Shazams or Orions. Batman will be smarter than Lex Luthor, Mr. Terrific, Ray Palmer, Steel, and Brainiac combined.
