Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm okay with Snoke. I loved the moment after we see him te first time, that it appeared to be a hologram. But he does look like a Gollumlike Uruk Hai.

I don't know enough about him to like him or dislike him. He's fine. And I am hoping that he looks very different in real life, just as a twist. Sort of an anti-Yoda.

I'm hoping they just put cool make-up on Andy Serkis.

Kylo is still interesting and I prefer him to Vader but I tend to go for the master manipulative types such as Snoke.

Well, Snoke is going to be all evil. I doubt he'll be as fantastic als Palpy. But he doesn't have to be, as long as Kylo will grow as a character. I think Kylo's a great new baddie.

Supreme Leader is a horrible title. A noble-, military- or even religious title, or any variation thereof would've been so much better.

How does it smell like fascism? Fascists leaders have historically been military- and political leaders, and as such they've held political and military titles. For instance, Stalin's title was Secretary General.

Hitler = Führer = leader
Mussolini = Duce = Leader
Stalin - nicknamed Vozhd - leader
Kim (Korea) - Supreme Leader
Ali Khamenei, the ayatollah of Iran, has an official title Supreme Leader of Iran.

In think that title fits Snoke perfectly - a title both political and religious (i.e. Dark Side of the Force).

There's two more films to come so please just relax. The title works IMO.

It's a dictator's title. The OT always clearly referred to well known dictatorships. The TFA follows the OT in that respect, except with a title befitting the dictators of now.

Point taken, but other than Khamenei's title it's has been an honorary title and not an official one.

Hitler's official title was Reich Chancellor of the German People. Mussolini's official title was Prime Minister of Italy. Kim's title was Secretary General of North Korea.

Wait, does this make Snoke a Muslim?
