Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Speaking of which, how was the First Order able to create the Starkiller Base without the Resistance noticing?

The Empire was larger and more influential than the First Order, and the Rebellion was less significant than the Resistance and they knew that the Empire had the Death Star.

Besides, the Starkiller Base has ten times the radius of the Death Star, meaning that it has 1,000 times the volume. I thought the Empire more or less burned all their resources on the Death Star, so how come the First Order was able to build something so much bigger?

And don't get me started on the star-eating thing....

No, I really don't.
Yes, you really do. You might not like the First Order or the Resistance, but that's what they are.

The Imperial Remnant and the New Republic 😛

Names don't matter, as long as we enjoy the stories told.

The First Order wants to be the Empire. I am obliging the characters in the film. Quit trying to label them against their will.

It was explained in the novel. The Starkiller Base was actually a planet with high energy level. The Resistance didn't notice it's conversion into a base until it was already too late.

So you're telling me that the Starkiller Base is just a metallic shell on top of a planet?

Obviously. You think the FO built a planet then planted forests and shit on it?

😆

No. They don't want to be the Empire. They want to do what the Empire COULDN'T do. They want to be better than the Empire. You're the one labeling because you hate the movie so much you refuse to even give the factions in the film their real titles. Sad.

So you couldn't even keep up with the film. Too complicated for you ?

That she actually has swordfighting experience just makes it a bigger waste of an opportunity.

But what if the Empire..... betrays him????

In the book at least Chewie starts crushing her helmet with his bare hands until she agrees.

Don't insult my intelligence, I'm smarter than you.

Obviously not since you have seen this more than once and needed the simplistic information spoonfed to you. No wonder you hated it you didn't grasp it. Frustrating, eh ?

Actually I've only watched it once and even then stopped the movie to do something else on a number of occasions, but I've re-watched the scene to confirm that Phasma panicked, which she did.

Just because there were trees on it doesn't mean that it was built on a planet. You can take trees, or any other vegetation and plant them in a space station, and as long as they're sustained they'll keep growing.

So in order to enjoy the movie you had to know that the Starkiller Base was a converted planet? It doesn't make any difference, the movie still sucked.

I've seen the film more than once and she never panicked.

The movie explains this but you didn't get it and want to just say how badly it stunk Iyo. It didn't stink but to each his own as Disney is laughing it's way to the bank.

I've re-watched the scene more than once to confirm that her twitch and gasp were in fact signs of panic.

Mickey Mouse sure is laughing his way to the bank, but he didn't get my money but I got his film. Astner 1, Mickey 0, Quan -1.

No, she doesn't like it because it's shitty but she's clearly not panic stricken.

The film does. You missed it.

Yeah, I don't think they care as much about people like you who pirate the industry.

Tightarse.

Wow, we're down to discussing the emotional state of a woman behind a mask... Guess we're ready for episode VIII.

Somehow Quan relates to this.
