You're nuts. Civil War is going to beat BvS by at least 25 million.
Despite defeating BvS in pre-ticket sales; Civil War is actually doing WORSE than BvS so far.
BvS made $80 million during it's Friday, whereas Civil War only netted $75 million on Friday.
Still, Marvel movies are usually not as front-loaded as DC movies and this movie will probably go on to earn more when it's all said and done.
We shall see. As I said I'd be surprised if it doesn't ultimately make $1 billion.

It'll do 1 billion easy. It's going to beat Iron Man 3 no doubt.
Don't get me wrong I think it will; but it's not a surefire guarantee. Especially because it's starting off a lot worse than many people predicted. Hell, it's entirely possible it might not even beat BvS's opening weekend.

One thing is for sure Marvel movies have great legs so this film will do a billion for sure. It's almost halfway there before the weekend is over.
^ Like I said before, they didn't market Spider-Man's presence enough. But Word of Mouth (people going crazy for Spider-Man, and how great the movie is) should give this legs IMO.
I will be very disappointed and shocked if this doesn't beat that trash IM3. This was the real IM3 (on top of Cap3) for me. I think if it doesn't beat that then that would mean IM3 came out at the peak of the hype for comic book/MCU movies or something.
As for the Cap trilogy being the best superhero trilogy... Yeah sure.. But let's not kid ourselves, this film was as much a Marvel event film as a Cap film.

SM was pretty well known after the last trailer. The YouTube views were more than any other super hero movie and of course the TV spots.

Again why was the camera shot out 😆
Pretty dumb complaint TBH. reaching much.
Lets also complain at to the type of shoes Cap was wearing. I dont think they matched his outfit.
Oh I know , how about who was filming that footage during the destruction montage? (easy to answer, but it might perplex you for some reason)
