Sad thing is... that part was very accurate if we recall how the last fight between Parker and Stark went...

He didn't collide with the building the blast was just big enough to engulf the building in it.

Exactly.

Finally some guys who have actually watched the movie, instead of eating popcorn, drinking vodka and masturbating through the entire thing.

I'm not ignoring facts. Fact: Spider-Man easily caught Winter Soldiers punch and stopped it. Fact: Winter Soldier then proceeds to suddenly be capable of overpowering Iron Man.

Suddenly Iron Man's armor has become incredibly brittle. It's like Cap was literally being powered up by self righteousness.

He had on one of his Iron Man 3 armor.

Oh you mean the one that got smashes apart by the truck, by its own parts, andTony with a baseball bat? The same one which tanked a helicopter loaded with missiles expliding on it and getting crushed underneath the rubble of the malibu house, or being bulletproof at 0% power? Or the Shotgun armor, the same one which took a point blank repulsor blast to the face and was unharmed, then got shoved through some metal bars, and was still functioning despite Killian taking chunks out of it? Or another one of those armors which was compltely unharmed by an atta k from an Extremis soldier (who are strong enough literally punch through people with their bare hands) and proceeded to oneshot him? Definitely not those 😛
Being serious, even in IM3 Tony and the suits had more good showings than bad and Tony was pretty competant there. In Civil War? The bad completely outweigh the good. And the only good showings he had was speed and skill

Also holy shit did Robert Downey Jr. lose a bet? Why did Iron Man job SO hard in this film? Captain America shouldn't of stood a chance.

A Cap movie, with those who love Cap at the helm. Not the the first time such combinations produced illogical victories

He overpowered Iron Man with his normal arm as well. Cap when he had Iron Man in a sleeper hold was crushing the armor with his hands and Iron Man was unable to pry away his arm as well. Bucky was almost completely unaffected by Iron Man's punches. I could forgive all that, but Tony made retarded decisions in that fight which is even worse.

* Tony starting the fight at all. Yes its beleivable since he was already upset, but still is dumb to start a fight with someone he knows was brainwashed
* The several chances he had to kill Bucky but threw it away. First, wnen he pinned Bucky to that wall and tried to repulsor him, only for Bucky's metal arm to pull away his arm and start crushing it. Tony breaks free and tries to fire a missile only for Bucky to grab the arm again, this time by the wrist and push ut back and thus redirects the line of fire. And this time, Iron Man is conpletely helpless and is unable to break free (I know that shouldn't happen unless Buvky's arm is considerably stronger than Iron Man but I'm gonna ignore that for now) for quite some time till Bucky is distracted by the falling rubble. What infuriates me the most is Tony had been in the exact same position as before, namely against Thor and Eric Savin, they got a full repulsor blast or unibeam there but Tony doesn't use it here. He could've atleast tried the EMP which he used at the airport
* When Bucky is climbing out of that hole in the ceiling and Tony has distanced Cap for now. Since the targeting system is out of whack, Tony removes his headpiece and manually shoots out the supports of the hatch covering the opening, caving it in. The stupid part comes in that Tony had a clear shot on Bucky and could have shot him instead and he would have been dead (the writers also threw away a golden opportunity where Cap could've beaten Tony by suckerpunching him when he didn't have his helmet but I will ignore that as well for now)
* Then Tony flies upto Bucky and gets knocked around some more, before using his skill to get Bucky in a sleeperhold, and then, instead of staying there and either shooting him dead with one of his weapons, or breaking his neck, or choking him out, he flies down right into Cap's attack range
* Then after Tony had blown his arm off, Tony could've used either his laser, or his missile, or another unibeam, or a continuous repulsor beam (which he tried to use against Bucky earlier), he just knocks him out
* Then when Cap had him against the wall and pummeling him, Tony only had to hold up his arms to block since Cap was only repeatedly throwing left and right hooks, or pull off a kick (like he did to Killian in the same position), or jump out of the way (like he did to Ellen Brant)
* Then after he analysed Cap's style, he lands three repulsor blasts and a lot more blows. Tony in the same fight oneshotted both Cap and Bucky earlier with a single repulsor each but he can't do it with more? Uggh, did Tony take retardation pills before coming to the fight?

Look, there is no consistency within the MCU in regards to power levels....period. It's always been a problem. Especially in regards to Iron Man. The MCU make great movies, but they're not great representations of their characters POWER levels. I still love almost all the MCU films, but yah....they could really use to get a little consistency going.

IM beating Hulk in AoU still pisses me off.

I mean Iron Man should of been able to KO Cap with one solid hit.

In the comics at least Cap had to use this piece of technology when he confronted Tony. In the movie it's just..punching.

The IM suit seemed weaker and his energy blasts also seemed less potent.

I realize there are always going to be inconsistencies, but I feel there is a line where once you cross it..it just takes away from the overall film. I still liked it, but there were moments during these fight scenes where it just got a little too absurd.

Yes... if we believe that Rhodes was able to lift a tank (nothing surprising considering IM running very low on power could lift a car), then sure.

Tech in one encounter and Vision helped him in the other.

In the movie, Stark gets plenty of armor components damaged, though. Damage-over-time thing.

Tony knows well how much power is required to KO normal guys like Falcon without doing them any serious harm. But it's hard to guess how much you need when you're against SSS guys. So he was probably playing it safe, too safe.

Ha....these two clown's over analysing the shit out of this movie.

Damn Stilt, Kaz got you good.😂

Shut up nerd.

$1.1billion worldwide. Should reach $400mill domestic by next weekend.

Just another $100mill (plus a few million change) to overtake IM3.

THIS MOVIE WAS FCKING AWESOME!!
