Boxoffice.com has released it's opening weekend for Civil War, 163 million. It's a lowball for sure, with Spidey this film is gonna open to 200 plus with ease, well above BvS that's for sure.
Not sure about that, simply because they've marketed Spidey so late, and even that is just an image.
I think if Spidey had a larger role in this, and began being marketed 6months in advance, THEN this would have EASILY opened to 200million +

Question. Can someone really be a MCU fan when they've said they don't care for Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, Black Widow and Hawkeye?edit: Add Ant-Man to that list
Short answer? No.
Also wasn't this same person previously saying he didn't care for Civil War? And now he's acting like he's the biggest fan of this Lol

I actually think BvS doing well actually HELPS Civil War.
Ordinarily I'd agree. But I am wondering if the GA is going to feel like we're getting a similar concept (1 Iconic Superhero against the other) twice in the space of a couple of months. In which case it may benefit BvS more, coming out first and having been marketed much more and for a lot longer.
Also agree with that BvS will probably make more money, but Civil War will likely be the better movie.
