Captain America: Civil War

I think people are just mad that IM3 made so much money and was so well received by critics and audiences. Anyone that says it's "TRASH" is deluding themselves. It was a solid movie that WENT AWAY from the norm. The easy thing would have been to do another cookie cutter hero vs big bad guy. Sure, did I want Mandarin? Yah; but the twist was funny and original and DARING. MCU took a chance and it payed off. Maybe not to certain sectors of comic fanboys; but the general audiences enjoyed it. Iron Man 3 is the 5th highest earning comic book movie of all time for a reason. Sure, it was riding high on Avengers hype; but it also was well received and people really enjoyed the humor.

I have issues with it but I still consider it a good film and CERTAINLY better than Iron Man 2 without a doubt.

But yah, Iron Man 3 is better reviewed by both critics AND audiences so if it's "TRASH" then BvS is definitely trash as well. I wouldn't go so far to say that; I thought BvS was mediocre.

Marvel Cinematic Universe already retconned Aldrich Killian as the Mandarin since a comic that is canon to the MCU partially revealed the true Mandarin.

Makes me wonder if Mandarin will be treated like his Doctor Doom of the MCU.

Meh, let's hope that Marvel gets the rights back so they can get the REAL Doom; there really is no substitute. Maybe Fox and Marvel can work out a deal like Sony did.

I also like Doc Doom in the MCU. But knowing Fox, it may not happen 🙁

👆

Like you said, nigh impossible to sit through that abomination of the movie. On my first (and only) view, I could only watch 1/2 of it. Seen the rest, was even worse, if that's possible.

That's what Whedon did, actually.

True, but they'd be ****ing stupid not too. There is no value in the FF brand right now. Marvel isn't making FF comics and Fox has done their best to ensure NO ONE is going to watch any more of their FF movies from here on out....it's really they're only option unless they're content with throwing more money down the drain. Let's hope they come to their senses.

Fair enough to point out the difference. But I disagree you can't also enjoy BvS due to Batman. He was the main character in that, and was part of the best action sequences.

Oh God no. I've tried sitting through IM3 a 2nd time. Physically can not do it. BvS is way closer in quality to AOU than to IM3 IMO.

Out curiosity is SM3 also >>>> BvS?

Oh no we're in agreement there BvS is better than SM3, but not by that much

IM2 audience rating is more in line with BvS's (though still slightly above).

Your need to attack Im3 is sad. I didn't like it either but you go on this I'm right you're all wrong conspiracy theory bs. You're a troll. We get it when you hate a movie critics lie and people are wrong who disagree. You pulled the same shit for the Force Awakens.

Fox really did their best to ruin the FF. What idiots.

The first two FF movies were ok.

Better than the last one by a long shot.

True, but then again that's really not saying much is it?

If you didn't know anything about the FF or Doctor Doom I suppose the 2005 versions weren't AWFUL. But they weren't good by any means. And if you DO know the FF at all, they were bad. It's one thing to screw up the FF themselves, but the atrocities Fox has inflicted upon Dr. Doom are unforgivable.

And this Ladies and Gentleman is what's called pure and unadulterated fanboyism.

I wonder why people are not mad that Avengers made even more money. Hmmm

Btw IM3 even with critics praises and right off the Avengers hype on its side still had a very average box office multiplier, and then went on to sell less on home entertainment than MOS in the same year, despite only half as many people seeing MOS in theatres. Again a bit strange for a box office super beast that was apparently so well recieved by Everyone. So again Hmmm

But unlike fanboys I'm only going to speak for myself and not for everyone else and how "deluded" their opinions are.

You sound like such a *****. Quit with your silly little theories and just realize you only speak for yourself. It made money and wasn't as hated as you hated it. Let it go, fanboy.

You have some valid points on the home video thing.

Ever since early reviews of this that are really good and the critics saying that they enjoyed the new Spider-Man in the MCU, I've been thinking "Oh boy, here comes the comments from Raimi and ASM fanatics who will bash the critics going with the "No, Tobey/Andrew is the best Peter/Spider-man because of HURR DURR..."

Before I even see this Tobey will always be Spider-Man.

Calling it now.

Well that would be silly. Tobey is too old to be Spider-Man now, and the TASM series was on a massive downward slope (basically it had its chance and failed).

Had to be rebooted for the MCU. But hopefully now this is it, and there won't be another reboot for a long long time, and even then it will be one that switches things around like a Miles Morales replacing Peter Parker.
