Agreed on all of those. Also, Incredible Hulk. I'd actually put CW in the middle after seeing it a few times.

You're serious about TIH? Not saying I hated it, but it was kinda meh/average to me. A better movie than Ang Lee's Hulk in many ways (even though it lacked Lee's action scenes), but not something I wanted. The Hulk cartoon from the nineties was great - it's a pity a solo Hulk movie as good as a single episode from that series wasn't made.

Haven't seen Ant-Man yet (even though I own the dvd version), but the only bad movie MCU made I can think of was... IM3. A slap to the face for all fans of Ellis' Extremis story and fans of Favreau's previous instalments.

Ant-Man was meh. I really liked the Hulk. Probably biased, since he's one of my favorite characters. But I thought the whole cast did a good job.

I like Hulk a lot, too. And Wolverine, obviously. But their solo movies... well, they leave much to be desired, imho.

Hoping that Ruffalo's Hulk will play a big part in Thor 3: Ragnarok.

Yeah, Wolverine's kind of suck. Even the newer one. I kind of liked the Ang Lee's hulk, too.

Hopefully the next Wolverine movie will be epic.

The newer one raped my favourite Wolverine story of all time (well, Mariko wasn't bad in it, I guess). Not as bad as XMO mocked Origin and Weapon X stories, but still.

Can't really imagine an Old Man Logan movie without all the characters that made it work in the comic... but we'll see. Hope dies the last and all that. Please FOX, don't do smething stupid like replacing the Hulk Gang with the Blob Gang.

I don't see why Fox can't give us an epic Wolverine movie like the X-men ones. I used to be a huge X-Men fan growing up, so I'm happy with what they have given us. Even Apocalypse.

maybe Hughes last one will be epic.

They aren't, but they had a very good start with IM1 and later with Av1.

Marvel took their time and planned the whole thing carefully.

They actually had a solid start with the whole of their Phase I. The only one which didn't meet expectations financially and in its reception during Phase I was TIH. And even that is hardly hated upon.

There's frankly no comparing DC to Marvel at this stage.

MCU to me is a roller coaster. Some good, some great, some bad, and some average.

The difference is that the MCU started with a great movie. That is what got people invested in the universe and their characters. People actually cared about Tony Stark, Coulson, Nick Fury, etc . And wanted to see more of them.
Add that all of the following movies for almost a decade have been mostly good with a few average ones, and have also got people invested in the various characters in the MCU. Caring about them and leaving people wanting more.
The DCU has started with a below average film and followed up with a bad film.
No one is really invested in their characters. Cant really root for them so far. People dont actually want to see more of them. Its more of being a fan of the source material than the characters shown on screen. And the hope that one day they will get them right.
So for now peeps like Golgo, its always the same tune, "The next movie will be GREAT. You'll see"

😂 Most of the MCU are pretty mediocre. TBH, I get that from a lot of people always complaining about fatigue.

^ How can you say that dude? Marvel has made superhero movies the most popular thing after Star Wars.

I think Suicide Squad will be really good though. That last trailer has me excited. Here's hoping.

Marvel films made the cinematic combined universe a thing, Golgo. Knock it all you want but the douchebags at Warner are salivating because Disney already paved the way.

Is there any official tracking numbers out yet?

I think fatigue has set in a little. CW had some bad legs, one of Marvels worst so far. People were expecting 1.5 billion or close to the first Avengers. And yes, I think most of them are mediocre. The ones Stilt listed off are the only great ones.

Bo.com long range tracking has it at 98 million.

98 million opening weekend?

Seems kinda of high, I'd say 75 million.

CW was a Captain America movie. It performed better than the previous 2 Cap movies. Its not an Avengers movie.

The reason it had bad legs was also due to how poor BvS was in quality. And thus bad quality comic movies adding to the "super hero fatigue"

Still did alot of money. More than any Cap movie ever did. But most importantly it was a great film that also made money. As opposed to a bad film that made money.

Suicide Squad will break $150 million OW.

Going big on this one.

Still should have beat Iron Man 3.
