Roshi shouldn't even be there. Can't stop smh'ing at that.
Worse yet is how Toriyama nonchalantly disregarded Roshi's inextricably astronomical boost in power, when asked about it in an interview:
AT: "If Kame Senin[Roshi] had only felt like it, he could have been roughly that strong all along... But he retired from fighting after King Piccolo."

This move was better than BoG.

So in the funi dub does Whis still say that vegeta and goku can match beerus if they team up?
Context: Whis is giving Goku and Vegeta pointers.
Whis: "If you ever found a way to work together, for once, you would be able to go toe-to-toe with even Lord Beerus."
I wonder why they are presenting Bills as the most powerful being in the Universe? They keep saying the same things about him. They are not even mentioning Whis. Also, they said Bills is the destruction of life while there are God's who create life. Does anyone know which gods they are talking about that create life? Is it the Kai's?

In the film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, coming out in March 2013, a new god, the "God of Destruction", appears. In this [book], Kaio-sama and Kaioshin-sama are described as "Gods of Creation", but do they have the power to create things like planets?AT: "Rather than Kaioshin-sama making planets, he is able to provide the impetus for them to be born. Also, he will sometimes divide up one planet and increase the number of planets. He will even do things like create life-forms, or transplant them from another planet, but his basic job is to watch over the numerous planets. Because the number of planets is so very large, the four Kaio-sama help him out as well. They intervene if it appears that the world's balance will crumble, but normally, they merely act in an advisory role for new life-forms, and don't get involved. In order to provide a balance to the constantly increasing number of planets, the God of Destruction destroys [them], but he does not act on Kaioshin's orders; he destroys according to his own individual judgment. Except, he is capricious, so he will destroy even an important world without a second thought, or when he finds it bothersome, let someone else act as an agent of destruction."
As for Whis' power not being mentioned: his only job is tending to/serving Beerus. He only intervenes when Beerus' actions are overly brash and unwarranted(for him)... Otherwise he just kicks back and lets the God of Destruction do his thing.
The exception to this was him undoing Earth's destruction at the hands of Freeza. However, he only restored Earth because didn't want to lose its food, lol.

Makes sense. So if I am reading this right, the Kai's can't creating planets, whole planets, they just lay something there for the planet to create itself. They can create life which displays a huge power showing to me. I don't think people realized the versatility showing Beerus showed. He placed a Kai inside of a swords. Isn't that a display of magic?
^ Kaioshin doesn't create whole planets with a snap, no. He provides the impetus --the fundamental building blocks-- of a planet, and lets nature do the rest. He can, however, divide one planet into multiple planets if need be... Which is quite something.
And yeah, Beerus is who originally placed Elder Kaioshin inside the Z Sword... Definitely seems like a display of magic to me. However, I'm more curious why Beerus didn't just kill him..?

Probably because it would have been to disrespectfull. Whis would imo most likely have inteferred, also it's possible that those 75 millions years ago (Didn't the old Kai say he had been trapped that long)
Beerus wasn't as strong as he is now. srug

Beerus also said he was going to shrink King Kai planet. I wonder if he has the ability to create as well?
Why is Kaio's planet so small?AT: "The fact is, it was destroyed by the God of Destruction!!
It used to be so big that its diameter was about 100 times that of Kaio's current planet. Apart from the size it was completely the same as it is now, with nothing but grassy fields and roads. Kaio-sama enjoyed his hobby, driving, but then one day Beerus, the God of Destruction, stopped by and they played a video game together (it was a car racing one). Beerus lost, and so the planet was destroyed by the peeved God of Destruction. Kaio then took a large leftover fragment, whittled it down to a sphere, and built a road on it so that he could have fun driving there. This became Kaio's current planet."
Lol. Sad that you have to let Beerus win or do things in order for him to not outright kill you or destroy your planet while killing others. He is a psycho. I can't see Vegeta or Goku catching up with him or surpassing him in power. Who would be a threat if they did become this powerful and what would that make of Beerus? He would be nothing.
Originally posted by NewGuy01Seems to be the logical end-goal (that Goku will become the strongest in the multiverse).
Beerus and Whis are the strongest in the universe, but there are 12 universes; each of which have their own versions of Beerus and Whis. Wouldn't surprise me if this all ended with Goku becoming the strongest in the multiverse though.
Originally posted by carver9Beerus is still > Goku and Vegeta individually, but together they can match him. By DB standards, this means their powers must be fairly close to his, otherwise he'd stomp them both with little effort. Remember, in DB numbers are inconsequential... More powerful is more powerful.

And as of BoG, Toriyama stated:
Whis=15
Beerus=10
SSJG Goku=6.0
That said, I would imagine that BSSJG Goku and Vegeta are each about an 8.0, to Beerus' 10 now. While it wasn't explicitly stated that BSSJG>SSJG, we know that Goku and Vegeta have each underwent fairly extensive training with Whis since BoG--which means their powers are undoubtedly > what they were in BoG. BSSJG is, after all, a more perfected SSJG, without a time-limit. Aside from that, I can't imagine anything less than 8.0's being able to match Beerus. /shrug
With further training and evolution(which you know is bound to happen), I have no doubt that Goku and Vegeta will eventually surpass Beerus.
