Angelalex242 voted for Luke and Sidious as Tier 10 duelists.

I won't vote for Luke.
I vote for Sidious to be Tier 9 along with Yoda.

What do you think about Sidious/Yoda/Luke placement Ant?

No. Luke is definitely a Tier above the likes of Yoda or Mace or even Caedus. Caedus holding him off isn't the same as Caedus having a reasonable chance of winning.

In general, anyone can stall a duelist only 1 tier better.

Not really. One just needs to look at their comparative showings against Katarn and Gaalan respectively to see how comparable their skills are, their own battle against one another pretty nicely solidifies the idea.

In terms of lightsaber ability, Caedus and Luke are definitely on the same tier. Luke consistently one-ups him via superior power in the Force, though.

And as Caedus vs. Yoda is a dead draw, if Caedus ranks 10, Yoda will too.

For one thing, you keep calling Yoda vs Caedus a dead draw as if it were set in stone, it's not. Secondly, I'd vote for them all being 9, not those 3 being 10.

No source states he is the most powerful Jedi ever, actually.

Asking someone to prove a negative is what's known as a logical fallacy, my friend. He's done nothing that puts him above the other 9's as a duelist, and that's all the proof we need.

Except we see that in the EU, Luke was never depicted that way. Abeloth was far more powerful then him.

Dozens of Sith is something ****ing Surik has done, no ones putting her in even tier 8, and even I don't think that's actually a feat worthy of the top tiers.

Satele Shan took down 4-5 in less than a few seconds, but no ones put her in that tier because fodder Sith are fodder.

No. Lucas never, ever said that. He said Luke could become that. Just like Jacen, or Leia could become that.

Aboleth is a Tier 11 being. Luke not being able to solo her isn't anything against him.

Luke outduels DE Palpatine and he continues to improve from there. Considering that DE Palpatine is more powerful than his lvl 9 RotS self, I fail to see how Luke is not a 10...
