Just read the manga if you want to see Hit vs Goku. All the best parts without the ridiculous padding or power scaling.

The anime almost NEVER gets good in the way of classic DB. Bigger numbers and padding.

Agreed, I see no reason to give up on Vegeta as yet. It'll probably be a monster trio like you said, just as there's been with Goku, Vegeta, and Future Trunks, but now you'll have Frieza added to the mix.

Beerus is the new Vegeta.

At least that won't be the case in the manga, based on the good showings he still gets there.

This episode confirms that Jiren is on another level, time doesn't even affect him. Also, it appears he is probably above the Angels as well based off what Whis sister said.

Seems Hit lost the fight despite an impressive showing of skill and strategy. Shame this show is about angry faced number battles. If this were Hunter x Hunter, Hit would have won no question. Oh well. Then again, if this were Hunter x Hunter, Jiren would have had a counter strategy beyond "my number is bigger!"

Decent episode otherwise.

Jiren transcends time. Great scaling for the angels/Daishinkan/Zen-Oh. 🙂

Where Hit really f-cked up was what he decided to do after he had Jiren Frozen. Simply sitting there in one spot makes no tactical sense when Toppo and Dypso can easily jump in and attack him from behind. What he should have said was "Cabba, Kale, Caulifa! Knock him over the edge while I hold him down!"

They wouldn't have been able to budge Jiren. Goku powered up couldn't even tickle him.

Another thing: Does Jiren figures Toppo and Dypso > SSB Vegeta, Golden Frieza, Android 17 and Mystic Gohan?

Another good episode. I liked Hit, but I'm glad to see him eliminated. It was time for a heavy hitter to finally go down. Sadly, it seems that next episode we return to them fighting fodder.

Think Universe 6 is about to get erased. Appears Cabba is going to get thrown out by Frieza.

It needed to be tried though. SSJ2 Goku at least MOVED Jiren. A tiny bit. Raging Kale, ssj2 Kaulifa and Ssj Cabba can't move an immobilized Hit 5 ft? Bullshit.
