I’ve just been more perplexed at the rationale for the no kill rule in the ToP. Pretty much anything Zeno finds cool will fly, but killing would somehow be crossing a line even though he essentially kills the teams/universes that lose anyway? Well, it’s a convenient way for U7 to not get totally obliterated since it requires GoD candidate Toppo to hold back some with the hakai stuff (as he’d be disqualified if he kills/erases anyone with it), so I can’t complain too much.
