roses fade
petals fall
shrivel from
the stony wall

shriveled black
pungent smell
dead flowers
all fell

The kiss of life is laughter.
And the laugh of life is love.
Faith is hope, hope is faith.
And my hope is up above.

Beauty is the juice of life,
Stirred by noble pride.
Knowledge is the honest truth,
Hiding deep inside.

Sunshine in a cheering smile,
A twinkle in your eye.
Purity in an angel's soul,
Clouds floating in the sky.

that was written by my best friend.....she doesn't think she's any good.....but i love her poems.......jsut thought i'd share that one with you guys.....

that was very nice. most of my poems are short, and many don't rhyme. just weird little ramblings.

Hidden Thoughts

Transparency,
Through a disease,
Of mistakes and insecurity.
Unable to bleed,
Out what i need to hear,
What i need to know
Your secretive lives,
Are something i despise,
Because my fear lies
Amongst the unknown in your eyes
In your heart
In your mind

Is the happiness i feel
going to be again, unreal?

Just take down your shield
And let me help you deal
With your past
And your ghosts of memory
"You did nothing wrong" you say
But how could i not from the other day
I'm just afraid that to you i've lost my way
Will things turn out alright? They may,
Heal it all
Heal nothing
Awkward pauses, apologies
Why can't you just explain to me?

"Tired Of trying"

I try to talk to you
But you act if your oceans awy

I try to kiss you
But you kiss me like I was your father

I try to talk to you
But you treat me like a stranger

I try to fight for you
But you act like ignoring you

I try to hold your hand
But you act like it's a it hurts you

I try to call you from a distance
But all you do is walk away.

Soon I'll stop trying.
For that I hope will never happen.

I've written an 8-liner.

selfish hope!

in the night sky can you see that star?
the eternal brightnes thats so bizzare
the star thats there, that captivates me.
the one thats there, shining brightly.
one day I'll look and my star wont be there.
that will be the day I lose all hope and give in to dispair.
but until that day I'll look and see
that little bright star shining there just for me.

selfish hope is still hope 🙂

I've also written a song! this I had no trouble with what so ever! I just put pen to paper and the words just came to me!
