Have you considered we all tired of your oral fixation of every thing that comes out of Obamas mouth isn't crap?

You clearly don't know what oral fixation means.

Please read a book.

Yea you craving every word that comes out of his mouth, even if its the N word..

Obama saying the n-word is completely different from Bill Clinton or Ronald Reagan saying the n-word. We can't just disregard the completely different circumstances. Obama is a black man, who has experienced racism first hand, who has been called the n-word to degrade him and deny his humanity. To pretend it is the same thing as any white president using the word, and to pretend he said it devoid of the context he said it in is disingenuous.

There are people within the black community that don't think black people should use the n-word, and that's a perfectly fine discussion to have.

But what definitely shouldn't happen is white people policing Obama's language regarding racist terminology that was used to put down black people and raise white people, a word that is deeply linked to the systemic racism that for centuries and into the present shapes this society.

More Excuses.

Has nothing to do with any of that.

He's not acting Presidential saying things like that.

What, cause he's acting too black?

For me we need to get rid of these words where it is only okay for certain types of people to say them. Isn't ending racism..getting away from stuff like that?

Not one.

You can say these words, but if you say them the circumstances are different (i.e. the word has not been used to keep you and your ancestors down) so the reaction towards it is different, and you may not like the reaction (i.e. people accurately calling you racist, or not wanting to associate with you anymore), so it may be wise to not say it if you are a white person.

It's really not that hard to understand.

I never said it is hard to understand. What I'm saying is you can't truly get rid of racism until nobody is ever saying anything like "it may not be wise to say this word if you are a certain race".

I wouldn't take issue with anyone saying n*gger in the context Obama said it.

Obama is the president of the US and the citizens of the US, regardless of their skin color or ethnicity, have every right to take issue with what he says. To say that white people don't have the right to criticize his speech is, well, racist.

I didn't say they don't have the right. Of course they have the right. I'm saying they shouldn't because they should know better and not be racist ****s.

To say that it is untoward for the their frickin' president to use crass language like that is not being a racist dick.

I think we can cross that bridge when we got rid of some more of the bigger racist problems...once POC aren't treated shittier than white people, I'll be right there with you telling black people they shouldn't use the N-Word and/or that white people should now.

Well wait hold on, even saying the word in the context Obama said it is wrong? If you are not black, that is.

No, it's not and don't let any Tumblrite tell you otherwise.

Obviously, once again, we disagree on what is racist and what is not.

They are excuses, excuses you are using. Consequences, bah! As if we're talking about watering your plants and not human beings with agency who should bloody well be able to tell right from wrong.

Good luck with your buzzwords. 👆 Sadly, not all of them will change a single fact.

funny how you really have not expressed a single point in all your replies for which i can address. just trying to lead/shift the debate, ignore the general topic, and repeat the same old "OH CMON LOOK AT THE FACTS" ...but you conveniently refuse to list these "facts". you know the general reaction you'll get because blatant naked racism. you also know that you'll then be in a position in which you will have to defend these "facts" that you keep asserting.

that was all rhetorical though since i will be ignoring your reply and the rest of your posts as well. thx bye

There will be people that will be offended by the usage of the word by a white person, regardless of the circumstances. It is not really a big deal to just say "the n word" instead, and insisting you do have the right to say it and therefore will, while true, is distasteful.

Why do you troll when you get caught being bias?

The facts have already been listed and they need no defending because, you know, they're facts.

K, bai.
