So still wondering how The Media can congratulate Hilary on a huge win in Iowa.
Because she won the popular vote by a razor's edge- though I certainly haven't seen anyone call it a 'huge' win!
Heck, as others have noted, a draw is a pseudo-win for Sanders, he also gave a victory speech for good reason.
Taking the coin flips out of it, Bernie won.
No, she got more votes.
Giving all the coin flips to win, Hilary "won" by .01%
Also no, 0.3% (this link has charts of the whole breakdown). Small, but not 0.01.
Btw, it looks like there were errors in the count... in both directions.
"At one precinct, a college paper reported Mr. Sanders won 19 county delegates and Mrs. Clinton 7, but party officials said the final tally was 18-8 in favor of Mr. Sanders."
But note! That, like the coin flip ones, are county delegates. Which in turn are just worth a small part of a state delegate equivalent, which in turn there's 1,400~ of, their distribution determining where the 52 actual primary delegates go.
7 county delegates one way or another isn't enough to shift a 0.3% overall difference, that's worth maybe one to three state delegate equivalents, which are not worth a single actual primary delegate.
Frankly, the Iowa system is archaic and finicky.

Found the unedited interview, for comparison
All quotes from Santorum:
"He brings people together."
"Tell me, what happened during those four years that were an accomplishment for anybody?"
"The Republicans have had the majority for one year and one month, of which, as you know, he was running for president primarily."
"He spent four years in the united states senate being frustrated like everybody else."
(Interviewer: 'Name one accomplishment, it doesn't have to even be a passed bill'😉 "Well, I know he included something that went after the insurance companies in the most recent omnibus. "
(Topic changes to Santorum's runs and why he did better in '12 than '16) "The public's changed, and I think they're looking for someone not with accomplishments and track record."
.... if I ever need Rick Santorum to write me a job recommendation, I'll say 'pass.' Bush didn't even use the best line!
Chris Christie uses it in an ad too
Not even, like, editing it. Just that part of the interview.
Here's a vine of Bernie running to the side of a man who fainted at his presser, it's adorable: https://vine.co/v/iJgwjAgrrQK
Marco Rubio got stuck in a loop
Christie really ripped into him on dodging a question too (on him not supporting one of his own bills on immigration reform), and Rubio responded by almost word-for-word repeating his dodge.
It's looking pretty clear that Rubio relies on debate preparation and memorized his speech, and didn't plan ahead to backups.
This is good news for his opponents. This is exactly the kind of break the other establishment candidates- Jeb, Christie, Kasich- have been hoping for if it helps them in New Hampshire, and Trump and Cruz certainly aren't going to mind Rubio taking a good bruise here.
I wonder if Jeb could actually be in the race... he showed backbone, and Rubio kinda fell apart.
I mean, probably not, but with Rubio the current top of the establishment corridor and, like, every establishment candidate doing better than him, his position could be shaky.
Since this isn't a Cruz state, a blow to Rubio does help Trump, so despite the eminent domain thing this likely boosted his odds.

Chelsea Clinton slipping up and already calling Sanders..President Sanders.
Um wtf??? How can the daughter of Hilary Clinton be calling him President Sanders unless they already know the outcome?
And if anyone here says this is an honest slip up well 😂

Hilarious. Truly an example of a mindless politician who is a figurehead for wealthy plutocrats. A presidency under him would really just be a presidency under Goldman Sachs.
