Likewise!
When we're not hearing about the same Hillary scandal for the umpteenth time (after having already responded to it, so it's not like you all don't know what I think of the e-mails anyway), it can be pretty interesting. Like, I don't support Trump, Time does, and thus when Trump does something or something happens involving Trump or his rivals, I may not be in a position to judge, but I can look at Time and similar and go, "Ok, what do they think about it? Are they impressed, disappointed, do they think X other candidate is a serious rival or a joke...?".
Because, on the outside, I can't judge this stuff, and I really would enjoy being able to just talk. We can be on opposite sides, but still discuss stuff to at least understand what the other side is seeing.
Like if someone wants to actually ask about Hillary's positions, or Bernie's, as, like, a serious question, I'll do my best to offer a response too.
I'm not here to slag off on the other side, and I'm not here to cheerlead. I'm here to preferably learn stuff, and maybe do some informing while I'm at it.

I appreciate your posts as well 😄

I was watching Bill Maher on HBO and was a little suprised at Steinems comments as well.
Maher in his opening for his show made some hilarious comments about hillary running vs sanders. I have watched her for years on c-span (nader too, he never got media coverage aside from maher and c-span years ago.)
Employing the vote for me because your a girl/woman like me is a super weak and not near as likely to work as it did with obama and the black vote.

R: Trump's lead. Makes sense. As said, Rubio is the biggest competition in New Hampshire, and that poll is after the Santorum endorsement ads ran.I'm going to spitball and guess for both parties, Sanders and Trump will win by about 15 points, give or take. A single digit win would be a less-good sign, and if either can win by 20 points, that'll be very good for them, and potentially in reach.
This is an important state for both.
Oh, that's a disingenuous assertion.
Remember, none of these people knew what he was. He did not advertise what he was doing.
It's not fair to blame anyone invited to parties for not knowing something they had no reason to know. They weren't close friends, they weren't clued in, and they are not Batman, Sherlock Holms, nor are they psychic.
Donald and Hil? They were more likely to be at one of the parties to talk to each other than anything to do with the guy's crimes- which were uncovered many years later and neither has defended.
I always find it funny how People on the Left are so eager to find excuses for people's extremely bad behavior when it concerns the policies that they support.

Steinem's comments are stupid and sexist (and it is ironic that Maher, who tends to be a bigot in many areas, is the one to point it out), however it is indicative of the split in opinion between 2nd wave and 3rd wave feminists, so not totally surprising.
Generally I think it does make sense to include a candidate being a woman as one deciding factor (not the sole deciding factor, obviously), because it has positive societal effects associated with it that go beyond the specific policies the candidate would implement. The US had 43 presidents, all of them male, having a female president would be a positive sign for girls and women that even the highest offices are open to them as well (which they definitely didn't use to be in the past). Just like with Obama it's not a "well racism is dead" thing, but it's a positive step.
One comparison that I think was pretty apt is that Hillary Clinton has a bit of the same vibe that Nixon did. Disregarding that Nixon turned out to be a crook/criminal, while having an excellent track record and lots of experience he also had a quality that made him untrustworthy to many people.
This is just 😂

You understand how speech works...like I can call you "Reasonable Person TI" right now, even though you've never in your life been that...
Just because she makes such a mix up doesn't mean that Sanders is, was or will be president...
